Re: Bachelor Australia Season 6 - Nick Cummins - SM Media #4 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*
Just interested to watch the project and then ready to move on from this season. If anybody has a link to watch it, that will be very much appreciated. Thanks

Re: Bachelor Australia Season 6 - Nick Cummins - SM Media #4 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*
I was going to say, there's no way they'd pick Britt as the next bachelorette. She's not popular enough with the general public, even after her dumping. Sophie would be the public's choice out of the F2, based on social media reaction and opinion. But then I remembered Ali, who has been panned by 99% of punters yet Channel Ten have persisted.
I guess they'll pick whoever the heck they want. Brooke would be perfect imo, but she's obviously burned by the whole experience and probably wouldn't.
I can't be mad at Nick. I think it's better that he did what he did than give one of them hope they were going to be committed with a view to marriage but then be dumped after sleeping together etc. He shouldn't be forced into a relationship with someone he didn't truly love. That said, obviously he should have just refused Channel Ten. Ultimately they're at fault for throwing money at him and making him offers he couldn't refuse and facilitating the whole thing. No more celebrities please!

@handsanitiser I agree with you about Nick. However, he could’ve handled it better.

@HEA This link leads to a repeat of Friday's "Fallout" story, a little at the beginning but the actual story is just after 21 minutes. At the end of The Bachelor story, there is a Sunday preview.
Use that link to watch Sunday Project. There is a Watch Live at the top or Episodes at the bottom. I'm not sure what you can access.

Definitely. He could have done it all much more thoughtfully. He's not articulate. Or, maybe he is but chose not to articulate his feelings. It was unfair to push the girls into expressing themselves (especially Sophie who was clearly uncomfortable doing so) and then just say nothing in return other than maybe 'you're a tippy-top sheila' or some other nonsense.
But then I still come around to it ultimately being Channel Ten's fault. Why pursue this guy as Bachelor?

This is what I don't really get either? I'm not sure which bright spark looked at Nick and thought "thats the guy we want!" All I can think of is that hes popular with men, so maybe him being the Bach could have enticed more men to watch? But I'm pretty sure that's not how men workhandsanitiser wrote:Idlemess wrote:@handsanitiser I agree with you about Nick. However, he could’ve handled it better.

@Idlemess Try these links to hopefully help you access Tenplay overseas.
Source Tenplay FAQ
Source Using VPN
Source How to Watch Tenplay Overseas
YouTube has video tutorials.
I can get the latest video/radio interviews with Brittany and Sophie via YouTube on my TV box, using Chromecast (HDMI). I can see only old The Project videos so I watch Tenplay online.
I haven't delved into any other ways. My son who lives in Connecticut watches Australian programs, including Sydney New Years Eve Fireworks, live viewing.

Re: Bachelor Australia Season 6 - Nick Cummins - SM Media #4 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*
Just watched the interview on the Sunday Project, there was nothing too groundbreaking on it. Nick waffled on a lot about timelines, and timing being right, and that he regrets nothing.
Of the final 4 girls, Sophie, Brooke and Cass all cried, Britt was less emotional and a lot more polished in her responses, whether that's because she was acting all along, and was less invested I don't know. I've felt more of an anger coming from her post finale than the other girls, so maybe that's why she seemed less emotional.
IMO on the interview they presented Brooke as "the one who got away" potentially playing into the narrative that she would have been F1 if she hadn't left. Nick didn't say it, but he made a big deal about her being only 23, and not wanting to take her away from her family and support network in Perth.

Re: Bachelor Australia Season 6 - Nick Cummins - SM Media #4 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*
Watched The Project and Nick was hardly in it. I suspect he didn’t answer many questions at all or they were unusable. I am convinced that he had no intention of ever choosing someone and was tempted more than he realised. It is interesting that he made contact with all the girls via but when through Britts brother.
All girls cried apart from Britt. I think it can come across as cold but I see it as protecting herself.

Re: Bachelor Australia Season 6 - Nick Cummins - SM Media #4 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*
In the words of Britt, wowee!
I just caught myself up and watched the finale. To be perfectly honest,!8 never liked Nick as The Bachelor. I thought he majorly lacked the depth for the role. I believe Channel 10 were hoping to repeat the success of Sophie by choosing a “bogan” but Nick never had Sophie’s compassion (not sure if Sophie’s compassion was real or acted but I felt it). I too believe Britt was left angry.
Now, Nicks default line for women seems to be “timing”. Cass repeatedly spoke about “timing” not being right between her and Nick and I’m sure it was Nick that planted that in her head (if you want to be with someone you’ll at least try to make it work).
Anyway, I’m at least glad for once I didn’t predict the final outcome I thought Britt was the winner. I must say though, she’s the first F1 I actually liked (I usually prefer the F2’s or F3’s) although Soph was great albeit young.
Also I apologize if I wrote in the wrong thread. My head is a daze as my little one is (chronically) sick.
All JMo.

Re: Bachelor Australia Season 6 - Nick Cummins - SM Media #4 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*
Nick's interview was pointless, no further insight whatsoever. I don't believe he was ever interested in finding 'the one' and has no compassion whatsoever for the girls he led on. He said if he saw them out he would buy them a drink.. was all just an acting job for him and meanwhile the top 4 have been left feeling used and exposed.
I hope the ratings dont encourage them to go down this path again. Sophie and Nick were a novelty but the audience is well aware now that seasons like these are going to end up disappointing.
