LRSC Rides Again!

A letter to readers

Dear Readers,

I am breaking from the traditional field report in the consideration of time...

On Wednesday, an elaborate ruse was created in order to sleuth the mansion. This involved suggesting to DUH that we take SOG (Special Out-of-town Guest) to Paradise Cove. Now, mind you, we love Paradise Cove. And the most logical way to get there, my sweet DUH, involves a most direct view of the mansion. I got him to agree that we would dine there with our special guest. But DUH wanted to go out Las Virgenes instead of Kanan. Not trying to sound too winey, I suggested that we might return home via that other lovely road, Kanan Dume. The plan was set.

A wonderful dinner followed by toes in the sand (stopped short of rolling up dress pants to dibble toes in the water). DUH, without nagging, turned north on PCH to head home via Kanan Road. Score! But wait, dear reader... the road was closed. Emergency Vehicles! Flashing lights! But closed nonetheless. Sigh. Foiled. It turns out that there had been a horrendous crash on that road earlier in the day, and there were downed power lines.

The only good news is, LRSC is still talking to me. She hadn't gotten to go to Paradise Cove, as most guests (esp SOGs) do not relish riding in the boot, even though LRSC is thoughtful enough to have a light installed.

i2d's cover was blown yesterday. Used DUH's computer to contact JLCAZZ before having a ride in LRSC to lunch in Beverly Hills. Return email to DUH's computer not intercepted. So DUH has seen an email titled, "Re: From i2d."

That started the unraveling of my secret life. DUH lost it. Who is i2d? Where did you go for lunch? Why is your neck sunburned? Why did you get gas three times in a week? ,He caught me totally off guard. I had to spill the whole deal. Lies, postings, late nights on the boards, early mornings on the boards, all the fun.... le sniff. I guess I'll have to say... APRIL FOOL'S DAY! Everything until this paragraph is true... He probably is curious about this i2d thing, but is still clueless. I remain yours truly.

Always entertaining i2d!! Too bad you can't "go on the road" and continue our intel! Can you imagine the backstory you'd have to create for that one?!?! :laughingoutlou
