Cass denying things with her and Nick previously is not a good look. No way that TPTB would have allowed Britt or anyone to confront Cass off-camera especially since they only would see each other at the cocktail party

Britt getting some very harsh treatment on Social Media

If Britt is the F1, the public won't be happy. This show is going nowhere with love

Nick sending Cass home after he was saying he didn't want to stuff anything up with Britt on her HTD and then him telling Britt about his history with Cass... says it all imo. Basically makes it so Nick sent Cass home after all this for Britt and appeasing her doubts.

TPTB were always going to show this, regardless of whether Britt was F1 or F2, or if they’re still together or split, it’s too juicy. But if they’ve split, this will help to protect Nick from backlash as she won’t be a popular F1.

The music when Britt was about to Cass was laughable. TPTB showed this confrontation for MAXIMUM drama. Britt comes across as mean and jealous and entitied to Nick’s affections. Cass has nothing to explain. The past is the past. Nick clearly did not have feelings for Cass so I don’t know why Britt felt so insecure. Oh wait, yes I do, it’s because Britt is an insecure person. SM and FB are crucifying Britt.

Alright, after watching that episode... unless something ridiculously game changing happens in the next 2 episodes... Britt is F1 for sure.

The drama was majorly played up for the ad. Britt didn't get bitchy, she was just embarrassed and wanted the truth. Cass and Britt are still friends. The bit from the ad was her quoting what the media was saying. It really wasn't that bad. her sister laid it on thick so I don't really blame Britt for it at all.

They went into her history with relationships a bit, she was very badly hurt 6 years ago and it has taken this long to get back on track according to her family. Nick has taken this on board.

Nick answered all the questions thrown at him by Britt's family really well.

He seriously dodged questions from Sophie and Cass's family and looked REALLY uncomfortable.

He looked like he was starting to realise that his and Brooke's life wouldn't match up and he is starting to say that he doesn't want to take her away from her family. The fact that Brooke needs 'stability' was rammed down our throats. I guess they are setting up the reason for her to go home next. Brooke was definitely the second favourite above Sophie.

In the sneak peek for next ep right at the end of tonight's episode, Brooke makes a 'shocking declaration' leaving Nick speechless and he says 'I can walk you out'. I wonder what Brooke says and why she decides to leave when it's so close to the finale? We know that she says 'what am I doing here?' right? (from previous sleuthing and the preview from the first ep)

So apart from the Britt/Cass confrontation at the end, it was a very typical hometown episode. 
Brooke’s endgame continued rolling along with some doubt cast by her friends, paving the way for her F3 exit, whether she walks or Nick lets her go.
Sophie and Britt’s hometowns were classic F2/F1. After a bit of light questioning from Sophie’s sisters, Nick declared himself delighted with her family and they had a big pash, whereas Britt’s hometown had Dad roasting, brother roasting and a sister stitch up. Nick and Britt left on a bit of an uneasy note, followed by the cocktail party.
Brooke is the fan favourite at this point, and Australia/casual fans will be outraged when she goes next ep. Britt has just shot herself in the foot with her confrontation tonight, she will not be a popular F1, and if she and Nick have split most casual viewers won’t really care IMO.
