It infuriates me that they treated Joe so poorly. In doing that, all they accomplish is making it less likely that stars with no dance background will agree to do the show. It's diametrically opposed to the stated purpose of the danged show.

i hate when they’re rude to dancers ... they’re invited on the show .... many have zero dance experience .... some are much older .... and when the judges get critical ... they’re the ones that look like morons ..
 Not the stars.   I remember them being rude to Buzz Aldrin ...
 Seriously ?!  He’s elderly and moved like the elderly do ... what did they expect when they invited him to go in first place?  That he’d move like a gazelle   they need to be realistic, and judge according to ability, effort and progress IMO And give praises for that.

I know of at least one reason why my interview got cut. When they tell you to look at the interviewer and not the camera -- (Pro Tip): Look at the interviewer and not the camera! My eyes kept wandering over to the camera lens. Also my friend is younger and prettier than I am, and made a better sound bite, so no harm no foul. She did great! It was all a lot of fun. And Julianne is exactly the way she comes across on TV -- happy, bubbly, and enthusiastic. When she enters a crowded room, all eyes swivel to her.

I like Artem but Danielle did not do a good job, and yet there were so sweet and supportive of her.

If they could give out an award for the pro that does the best job of working with and teaching their star, my vote goes to Artem. He has a tough job this season and IMO he is definitely rising up to the challenge. I know there have been other contestants with disabilities in the past but they could at least learn visually. That's not happening here.

Thankfully the judges are not attacking her for the mistakes.

Yes, that was Bekah and Grayson. She did an IG story saying they were going to support Joe.

As usual, I am about 10 minutes behind but I agree about Danelle's performance. She looked as if she was "stomping" out her steps with little flow. Thought she did better last week.

I did not care for that Argentine tango. Her footwork was off and I can't believe that none of the judges mentioned that.

ETA: Seriously did they not watch her feet? Am I totally nuts?
