Cass should've been forthcoming and told the truth from the beginning. Literally said "we dated for FIVE MONTHS".

Imagine she had said that she and Nick dated for 5 months while on the show and the audience knew this as did the other women. Or Nick said it.  

She's lucky imo that she got the edit she did or whatever and not backlash for her lying and denying things until it came out from someone who wasn't even on the show (ridiculous) and same for Nick. jmo

I haven't watched this week's episode yet but I just can't understand how anyone can criticize Britt for being upset if this is the case. Nick said nothing while Cass purposefully downplayed and lied about the extent of their relationship, so the two people she would've trusted most in the house hid the truth from her. I feel like any blowup Britt might've had would be completely justifiable.

Exactly and ITA. I'm honestly shocked at reading the hateful sm comments bashing Britt on her IG for something that any sane person would be justified at being upset about. If Cass was someone who didn't like Britt I could understand her not wanting to say anything but as a friend? That's not what friends do to their friends imo. Britt should have heard the truth from Cass first and not from her sister on a HTD. The reality is that Cass, if she had told the truth and not hid it from Britt from the beginning, there'd be no reason for Britt to be upset and Cass and Britt could have talked that out waaaay in the beginning on their own in their rooms bts. Cass CHOSE not to do so. That's on her imo and I get why Britt was upset because it wasn't about them dating it was about being lied to by her friend who is all like "we are all in this together". Really? Really? Then tell the truth from the beginning to your friend and be in it together not have to have her find out from someone else. jmo

We don't know what was said to Cass by the producers though.  She might have been told to keep quiet (or at least until the time suited them for the truth to come out - on camera, of course).  Cass was "produced" more than anyone else this season, IMO.

Regardless of what producers said I think Cass chose to keep quiet for her own personal gain. She's an actress and knows about producers and things. I think the naive thing is overrated on her part. I think she thought she had an advantage over the others having been in a relationship with Nick for 5 months and that's her reason for keeping it quiet and lying. Bottom line to me is true friends don't lie to friends like that. jmo

Cass was blindsided when she realised Nick was the Bachelor. Maybe she felt embarrassed by the past she shared with Nick and wanted to keep it to herself. I thought she seemed genuine in her feelings for Nick and she has said she loves him. She wanted to win as much as any of the women did, but in the end it is Nick who decides. If he genuinely loved Cass, regardless of their past he had every right to choose her. All my opinion of course.

I think Britt was blindsided by both Cass and Nick. From a friendship perspective, it was Cass' choice to keep the truth from her bestie (her words). She is all "women before men" now but I wonder how much that has to do with the ending. Will find out soon (will be interested to see if Britt is F1 and still with Nick or if she isn't F1) 

Cass is saying she believes Nick is still with F1. If true then Nick's liking the below comment makes me 

If Britt is F1 then it's super odd imo and not very respectful of Nick to be liking a comment about Sophie's butt and will powering himself not to touch it. If he is with Britt then liking that comment shows me he's just doesn't care and thinks he's being such a "man"    kinda in line with his other comments he's made: women are 'birds', 'sheilas', talking about his hard-ons with women on the season (ew) and other such classy things. 

It makes sense to me for Nick to like the comment if Sophie is F1 or he's with Sophie (even though his other comments about the women aren't exactly respectful of her either). Makes me wonder about rumors about Sophie (as F1 as posted upthread that's the only rumor I've heard or as a switcheroo as media has said, etc).

Out of all the men who are leads I don't recall any other BachAU leads who have talked about the women on his season the way Nick has. The bar is so low already and yet Nick can't even be as "classy" as they were. But oh well, I am sure all the footballer/rugby-ers in his world think he is Such a man. Much class. Such goals

Now if he is not with any of them... makes even more sense that he doesn't give a crap about them and just was there to cop some feels (gross).

Honestly I think ALL the women are better off without Nick  jmo

If Cass had shared all the intimate details of her relationship with Nick what’s to say the woman would’ve have turned on her. She was put in the mansion with women she didn’t know and she wanted to make friends. IMO making friends with women who are jealous of you is difficult. Nick paid no special interest towards Cass, and after all she got the crazy stalker edit by TPTB. Britt confronted Nick about Cass but obviously she didn’t trust what he told her so she went to Cass to find out the truth. IMO Britt not trusting Nick isn’t a good foundation for her relationship with him. Cass wanted to be the last woman standing but she didn’t play the entitled card with Nick.

I doubt Nick and Sophie were out in public BUT if not fake rumors it could be someone is planting rumors based on something they know? The only thing I heard was Michael (Sam Frost's F2) was going around telling people that Sophie is the winner. Could all just be rumors but then I'd think DM and Sportsbet would know it's Sophie? Unless they were tricked (which would be funny and I'd be all for it if so ) Outside of rumors, media, and SM, need to sleuth the finale SCs to see. If Nick chose no one that would be more tricky to figure out but all for it

Where is the social responsibility and duty of care that the producers have when putting last nights goings on to air. Where were they when Britt was being RELENTLESSLY bullied and demoralised on social media. Where were they when Cass was being touted as a crazy woman. And before anyone says these girls knew what they signed up for I ask you did they really know? Seriously. It’s time we call this for what it has become a piece of trash tv that serves no purpose anymore than to demolish all that come before it. Cass has had to come out today and ask people to stop. It is not enjoyable tv and it has lost its purpose. As much as I love the franchise I hate what it has become. Vent over. And Britt if you or anyone you know is reading this I am 100% behind you. These girls can have no idea how they are going to be edited. Especially when neither of them have said anything bad. Selective editing and 'mood music' plays a massive part in how they are perceived.

Unfortunately, the initial reaction of a few has been amplified by media purely as clickbait. However, having said that, I believe sanity will prevail and after the show is over, true personalities will shine through and the vast silent majority will be supportive of both girls.

It makes me wonder if there’s a clause in their contracts stating that any footage of them can be freely edited by TPTB to portray how they want the events to go with no legal rights to the participants. Because if there wasn’t surely there would be lawsuits on this stuff. I read an article recently abou how reality tv starts have started to be warned that they are likely to be unemployable for the next 12 months and will be subject to trolls. Instead of warning them, how about they do something about it? Because the “stars” of many reality tv shows don’t understand what is going to happen when they sign up and they only see the glamourrous side of fame. It’s sad really.
