In news we were not expecting so soon, because there are still girls in the mansion we don’t know the name of, The Bachelor will be finishing up NEXT WEEK!

Yep, you read right, the FINALE will take place on Thursday October 4th at 7:30PM on Channel Ten.

By our (very quick) calculations, that means we must see two girls leave on Wednesday as ‘Hometown visits’ must happen in the third last episode which is this Thursday and that’s always four girls.

We actually cannot believe it is coming to end so soon BUT it does mean, we can expect Ali’s season of The Bachelorette to premiere on Wednesday October 10th!

Masterchef finished as schedule but The Bachelor didn't start immediately. In fact they aired Survivor for a couple of weeks before The Bachelor. Maybe to coincide the finale when Nick is away!

Frankly to me he doesn't look all that upset. IMO it's the typical sad sort of reaction I would expect when the lead is eliminating  the F3. They are like them, enjoyed spending time with them, got to know them and feel guilty letting them go. Same old, same old. Nothing there that remotely makes me think he is any more upset than the typical lead.

Because I early noticed that prods made sure on ep1 to include Sophie explananing she cheated on nobody because the guy was single and she was single and this happened long ago

I immediately thought: interesting, prods look like they are making sure to shoe Sophie worth it and not a villain

imo Britt F1 because sportsbet has had her as favourite from the beginning and they are usually never wrong also britts meet and greet and f1 edit i guess...but probably more for me its sportsbet otherwise i am more inclined to believe sophie is f1

I read on the other SM thread that Margie Cummins commented 'winner winner chicken dinner' on Brittany's instagram page and it was subsequently deleted.

Brittany liking her friend's comment about whether to put a bet on.

Brittany and Nick's suspiciously similar Instagram story on the first episode, which were then deleted.

Every single betting agency has had Brit as #1 from the start.

I agree @Sprite - if anything this looks like a faked/exaggerated reaction to me.  Same with the season preview when he's leaning forward and looking pained, that's always looked like acting to me.  If being "heartbroken" is going to be his get-out-of-jail-free card for being single post-show, they probably hammed it up a bit IMO.  

IMO it's no accident the paps got these pictures, nor the one of her with a rose at the previous RC. Brooke's storyline is the only one IMO that's been deliberately crafted/developed consistently throughout the show.  I already suspected they wanted her for next Lead, but the more pics like this that come out, the more convinced I am.

Re the Brooke thing I suspect she asks Nick to give her some sort of affirmation or let her go. I suspect he will confirm her suspicions and not give her a rose

You cannot tell me colour choice is accidental. Once again Britt is in a white/light colour and Sophie is getting the vixen edit and dressed conveniently in red.

I'm really interested to see what goes down on tonight's episode.  I suspect Sophie's been relatively quiet/pensive post show because she's nervous about what's going to be shown and how it's going to impact upon her "professional" image.
