Can you imagine all eyes on him? One day he’s just a regular guy, the next day, Boom! He’s dating one of the most popular females in the nation! I hope he has enough confidence to endure the public scrutiny.

Regarding Sasha: I think she had a totally wrong impression of him. She thought that he is that shy, romantic, good-looking guy (personally not my type but whatever). But looks can be deceiving. And he is not at all like she was painting him in her mind. He is a sleaze. He is an immature, selfish and arrogant boy. The key word is boy. And it´s her fault. She built up his ego and now he thinks that she already have chosen him.

Those words she is saying in the preview for episode three. She is crying and saying: „I know that he is a jerk but I like him.“

She is about to fall into that old habit of hers to chose someone who is treating her like trash.

While we are talking about Sasha. As I mentioned before there are snippets from his blog „the dairies of a seducer“ flying around in the social media. Here is one of them:

I love watching fencing, it was great to see the men fight and we could hear the coach as he speaks English and French. Poor Alexander was too big to fit a regulation uniform so he didn’t fight...but got a nice one on one time with her anyway. The S/C of him we had, all dressed in black, was taken in the streets of Verona. They go and visit the place where people from all over the world come and write love letters to Juliet, ( from Romeo and Juliet ) to help them find their love.

The fencing tournament was won by Denis so he got the date. THE
BEST DATE EVER!   I can see her melting and him pretty much falling for her, he blushes as he talks about her. So sweet. This was a day to remember for her. So cathartic. Questions: on Evgeny$ birthday, why is Andrej leaving the garden, he his leaving his seat for Olga but does not come back when they are all taking turns to say something for Evgeny’s birthday.  
and it looks like most of them are really funny, everyone laughs together, but the atmosphere seems to change a lot,, when Sasha speaks,  they become all serious and their body language also is uncomfortable and Olga in an ITM doesn’t seem very impressed or happy with what he has to say. She refused to touch him when he came towards her reaching his hand out. Very awkward.

I LOVED the way they do the elimination. Very classy. It’s private and she gets to talk with each and explains her reasoning. We see her body language, ( and theirs) change with each man, it’s fascinating. I wonder what did Sasha said and also gave her, this little red book, a journal, some photos. She is not pleased with what looks like excuses he gives her. I noticed that he would look to the side A LOT and avoided her eyes or directly looking at her as he explains himself. A sure sign of deception. He managed to make her cry. He is the bad boy for sure. Can’t wait for the words to go with the various scenes.

You described it perfectly. The celebrated Evgeny`s$$ Birthday and previously Marina told the guys to think about some stand up jokes. They should describe the habits or the character of each contestant even Olga but in a funny way. So it should be a stand up comedy evening. Evgeny and Valja were hilarious. At some point it was Sasha`s turn. His jokes were nasty and insulting. One of them was about Olga. He said that Olga is only on the project so someone can take nice pics of her in Italy so she can post it on her IG. And he added something like I have time now so how about we leave and record some instastries for your IG together. And Olga refused to leave with him she said: „No. I do not want to leave with you.“
There was also a nasty joke about Alex (the bald one) and about Jean-Michel regarding his skin color. Olga said on her ITM that she wa really waiting for him and she wanted to see him but now she is really dissapointed in him. She thought that his jokes were insulting and nasty.
She was turned off by his behavior. At the end of the episode she is desperately reaching for straws. She is trying to find something positive what can make him look good again in her eyes.

I don’t think that she has some kind of feelings for him. I think it´s about an illusion. She created for herself a perfect picture illusion and that illusion is starting to get cracks. But people love to have illusions and it´s hard for us to let go of them. Most of the time we are trying to hold on to them as long as it is possible. IMO

Yes those are old pictures of Olga. He told her her own story. Such kind of presentation is actually typical for weddings. He obviously used that old schema.

Regarding Evgeny yes he tried to kiss her ans she leaned away from him. When Olga left the guys were telling him to respect her private space because they saw the same as you.

To be honest I had the same reaction on her question „where is Sasha?“. I mean I understand where she is coming from but I am not excusing everything what she does. Her „where is Sasha?“ was the running gag on the social media sites regarding the proejct.

And that massage from Jean-Michel was kinda strange because she is letting touch her legs but is snapping at Denis for no obvious reasons. Regarding that she received also some backlash. Mostly everyone felt sorry for Denis and thought that she was doing him wrong.

Thanks for all the translations @natik. Real life is slowing me down. I haven't had a chance to view the second episode yet, but I think I will watch the first half tomorrow. Reading everything has me really curious to see everything and see what impression I get from it.

@sdmom I am so jealous about your trip. I was supposed to be in London and Dublin now, but life intervened. I am planning to go to Croatia next July so will be curious what you think. It's been years since I've been there and I'm really looking forward to going again and seeing the family.

The FOOD ! Oh My! I’m so happy to see these people go through their day doing regular things, like EATING! And I am always so interested in trying to figure out what they eat. So glad Denis was thoughtful and cooked a meal for her. I hope she actually ate it...That looked splendid, I’d love to know more and yes, @sdmom, I also appreciate a guy who can cook! Plus they are in ITALY, com’on, some of the best food in the world there!!!

- [ ] Evgeny ( tattoo) She had told him at the last ceremony, that she likes him and is feeling like a little girl with a ‘ man’, protected . So I am feeling like he is using it to his advantage. After she told him that she wanted him to stay, and kissed him on the cheek, he lingered after she kissed him, wouldn’t let her hands go and turned around to send her a kiss, but it felt like he was putting on the charm...she was giggling, and seemed to like the attention and I fear he’s playing her a bit because as soon as he walks out, he puts his sunglasses on and walks to the other guys, with a very ‘ self important ‘ attitude. I’m not sure why, but apart from the fact that I don’t find him attractive and his backstory is a big red light, he seems kind of arrogant in his demeanor with the guys or with her. I look forward to hear the words to match the images so that it makes more sense. But, sorry I’m not really trusting him completely...after looking at more scenes, I noticed how he holds his hands in front of him, in a steeple outwardly, as a power position. When done too much or in the wrong context, it’s a sign of arrogance instead of confidence.
- [ ] In comparison, when Denis was with her, you could tell he was nervous and kind of blushing a bit and looked at her with such admiration and appreciation. I also noticed that Olga was massaging her hands in front of her and Denis started to do similar things with his hands, ( maybe both are stressed and nervous) it’s almost like they couldn’t touch each other but touched their own hands instead in front of each other. ( to calm themselves and each other) Mirroring their inner thoughts. I know that Denis was rubbing her hands and her shoulders before the paragliding in an effort to comfort her and calm her nerves. I’m starting to feel some real chemistry and intimacy between them, their looks and body language.

Sasha: it’s so obvious that he THINKS he can do whatever he’s done before to try and seduce her and she is partly seeing through him. The S/C I took of them is obvious, he looks like a schoolboy being reprimanded by the principal, but still defying her in a way. And yet she is destabilized by his words and still wants to believe him. And now, after knowing what we have and reading this excerpt :

It is clear that he is a scumbag and I hope that all that exposure will lead him to where he deserve to be...not where he wants to be. It will all backfire on him big time. It’s already happening, I’m sure. YUCK!

You know that „Sasha“ topic is wildly discussed on social media. The Russian viewers love to put into their comments quotes from their legendary writers. So regarding the situation between Olga and Sasha I often read that particular quote from a poem written by Pushkin.

„The less we love her when we woo her, the more we draw a woman in..“

People often are writting only these two sentences and it frustrates me so much! Because it is out of context. They like to forget what actually Pushkin meant with that. So here is the poem:

„The less we love her when we woo her,
the more we draw a woman in.
And thus more surely we undo her
Within the witching webs we spin.
Time was, when cold debauch was lauded,
As love‘s high art...and was applauded
For trumpeting it‘s happy lot

I have a different opinion on big Evgeny. His story is fishy for sure but I find him sexy in a wild animal kind of way. I do think at this point, Olga is attracted to him, or the Big Protector image she paints him. We shall see how it develops.

Olga said that she understands mostly everyone where he is coming from except for Alex (the bald one). So she wanted to talk to him in private.
Alex is saying to her that he is nervous and he wants to take the opportunity to read for her the poem he wrote.
He did really good. It was touching because he described how he felt that day when they first met. He described his emotions. He opened up from a whole other side. From a sensitive side. She asked him why he wants to stay on the project and he is answering that he as well want to be happy and that he made that step only because of a woman who is deserving of happiness and that´s Olga. He is saying that he is really nervous because they didn´t had any opportunity to talk to each other. She thanked him and said that now everything is clear for her.

On her ITM she said about Alex that she is interested to know him better because she thinks that he has depth. She thinks that his contradicts with his personality.  

Olga: When we first met I made a mistake I kissed both of you. And now I want to correct that mistake. Andrej and Sergej come to me please.

Evgeny (the big one) ITM: What she made with the twins was really spectacular and very vivid from a female side of view.

Olga: Guys let us be honest to each other ok? I don`t wanna lie to myself. That situation right now is not ok for me anymore. But it´s not on me to solve it. So please make that choice for me please. Right now.

Sergej (the host) is saying that he didn´t saw that coming and that it must one of the most difficult decision in their lives for the twins.

Olga: Today only one of will stay on the project. It´s either Sergej or Andrej.

Sergej: But when I am gonna stay now…don´t you have more connection with him? I mean maybe you have more sympathy for him? Maybe you like him better no? Or me?

Olga: I said everything I wanted to tell.

(turning her head to the guys who she already chose and is asking them)

Was it not clear enough what I said now?

Denis: Even I understood it. (ahaha that guy is a troll and has guts I`ll give it to him)

Denis is saying in his ITM that it´s a cruel decision for both sides. For Olga it´s difficult to choose because they are brothers and for the brothers it´s also a choice between the woman and blood brother.

Sergej: Ok then I am leaving the project.

Andrej: Why you?

Sergej: I don`t know but you had more time with Olga. You already had an individual date. I think it makes more sense for you to try to build something on the project.

Andrej: But I think it´s not right.

Sergej: I think it´s the best.

Andrej: But you also wanted to try something.

Sergej: So what are we gonna do now?

Olga: Decide.

Sergej: We need to do it right now?

Olga: Right now.

Valja ITM: It was so obvious that Olga was testing them but it wasn`t clear what is the point in the test. There are two options it´s either who is an decent guy or who is ready to fight for her heart till the end.

Sergej: I defer to you Andrej.

Andrej: Maybe I should defer?

Olga: I simple want now for both of you to leave. I defer to you?

Sergej: I don`t get it…

Olga: I defer to you my place?

Sergej: I defer to him so he can stay in the project to fight for you with the guys. You said it yourself that we should choose who should leave.

Olga: So what?

Sergej: So I don´t have another choice? What should I do then? What should I do Olga? What should I do? I would do anything.

Olga: What to do?

Sergej: What should I do now?

Olga: You said it so now do it.

Sergej: So that´s it then.

Evgeny the big guy got it. He has the right answer to the test. He is whispering to Andrej what they should have said.

Evgeny: „We want to stay both! We are both here to fight for you so you should make the choice.“
What have you both done?

Evgeny ITM: I am sorry to say that now but those two are dumb idiots.

While Olga is trying to calm herself down everyone else is discussing that situation. Sergej said on his ITM that he thinks it was not right from Olga to let them make the choice.

Olga is saying that she didn´t expected from them that they would turn her down that easy. She said she was actually pretty sure that they would get it and would simple insist that they both want to stay on the project.

Sergej and Andrej are still confused.  

Olga is entering the room.

Olga: I want to excuse myself for my emotions. I am really sorry. I didn´t expected that it is going to be unpleasant.

She is asking Andrej if he still want to be on the project after everything what was said and done. Andrej says that he thinks yes he wants to be on the project. Andrej stays on the project.

Next is Jean-Michel: She liked his surprise and thanked him so he stays as well.

Next one is Evgeny: She is asking him if he really needs that all for real. Because she it doesn`t seem so. He was mumbling some nonsense but at least he was confident while doing that.

Olga said on her ITM about him that his confident is a two way street. On the one side she respects him for that but on the other side it´s pushes her away from him. So she needs time to learn him better to find out if he is for her.

Denis is saying on his ITM that when she said Valja he thought „yeah that´s it for me“.

Olga said to Valja that he is a mystery as of now to her. But shel likes to solve that mystery.

Denis ITM: And I left standing alone and she was standing there alone.

Olga: Can you come to me please.

Is staring to laugh.

Olga: Are you scared of me now?

Denis is such a troll.

She can´t stop laughing.

Someone from the men is saying: He heard you.

Olga: Did you heard me?

Olga ITM: When he was standing there while squeezing his teeth and lips…it was so cute.

Olga: Can I hear your voice as well please?

Denis: Yes I heard you.

Olga: Stop. Honestly I can´t understand it…I need more time to feel you and to feel if you are sincere to me or not. But we don`t have that time…unfortunately…in Venice. But there are other cities.

Olga ITM: I want to give him another chance because it´s like a rollercoaster for me regards him. Yes…no…yes…no. That´s why I choose him.

During the last part she is saying that it´s not all. She said that although she doesn’t know the circumstances why Sasha (blue eyes) didn`t arrived to Venice, she still want to see him.

Olga: Sasha that kiss is for you.

Denis ITM: If she thinks about him then I guess he should take his chance and come to Italy.

Sergej ITM: He did absolutely nothing I don´t get the secret of his success.

Olga: I didn´t expected that it`s going to be so difficult.

She is also mentioning that the next city is Verona.


Preview episode 3:

Marina: I am glad to welcome you to a place where started one of the most unbelievable love stories.

Olga: The will fight for real in costumes and with swords.

Marina: Olga for whom are rooting from those two?

Olga: He is not here.

Andrej ITM: Everyone was breathing out when Olga said stop to him.

Olga: Today happened a little unfairness.

Valja: We were fighting for it and he got it for nothing.

Alex (the bald one): The guys are simple jealous.

Olga ITM: Don´t think that I am ready to marry him right now.

Wow, what a ceremony! I am sure it’s emotionally draining for Olga and the men. Thanks for your additional post about the twins, so I understand better where Olga’s coming from. The twins are clueless! But I also feel a bit sorry for them. Facing Olga can be intimidating in that situation.

I find Alex the bold one writing his poem on a piece of paper, unlike Evgeny the big one who just takes out his phone, very endearing. I appreciate anyone who actually uses pen and paper nowadays. I think he’s sincere in his pursuit of Olga, that’s why he seems tense most of the time.

Evgeny$$ is my comic relief! He stands there with his mouth half open...just makes me laugh!
