I really hope that’s right! I’ve been trying to look past these split rumours since they started.

I'm actually surprised Sophie didn't say something just like that.    

TPTB pursued Nick for years to land him as Lead.  And it came straight off the back of Sophie's season who in a lot of ways is a female Badge equivalent IMO.  This kind of Lead is the direction the producers have decided to take the show.  

So I don't see how you can say:

Because IMO at the end of the day, the show is about whatever the producers want it to be about. We as the audience can only accept that and watch, or turn off.  We can't tell them who to cast (if we could, we wouldn't be stuck with Ali!).

The tour information provided by the tour company in the DM article says the tour finishes on October 11, which is finale night, so assuming he'd be in Port Moresby that night, with a flight back to Sydney on the 12th. Direct flights leave at 2 in the afternoon, which would get him back in Aus at about 7 in the evening, leaving him unable to do media until the 13th. Although if there is a 6am flight connecting through Brisbane that would get him home by 2pm, which would allow him to do media on the 12th

ETA Sorry, I missed the discussion in the other thread saying that there's only 2 weeks to go. That puts Nick smack in the middle of Kokoda, and in no position to do media for over a week. Unless the F1 is with him on the trip, or they have an arrangement to not trash him if they are split, he is squarely under the bus

So now that she’s out, who does she think will win Nick’s heart?

Help, I am impatience and time poor but would like a second opinion on something I have seen on sm but don’t want to put on open board as maybe a red herring but imo worth considering. I have made several friend requests but no response which is fine but wondering if any other method of private communication is available? Thanks.

As Nick isn't the typical Bachelor lead, the likes of which the Franchise hasn't previously experienced, I wonder if Producers are planning a post Finale with a difference.

My thoughts are based on Nick being with Britt, both adventurous outdoorsy types. Brittany spent a hiking weekend recently with her friends at Barrington Tops and was also trekking in NZ.

TEN and the production Team could meet the happy couple at the end of the Kokoda Trail for their first media conferences then fly them home.

IF Nick is no longer with F1, they could steal my idea and do the above to ensure Nick didn't get his eyes scratched out when the big announcement was made to the waiting world!

ETA - what i like about this interview is that the girls both say that they think Nick and F1 are still together...

Weighing in on the drama, eliminated contestant Shannon Baff told E! News that Nick would be "very silly" not to end up with one of the six remaining contestants.
"There's a good bunch of women there," she says. "Look, I don't actually know what to believe. I'm a bit all over the joint at the moment with that. You hear so many different things."
Instead, Shannon picked Sophie Tieman as the contestant most likely to receive the final rose.
"I love her too, she's bloody awesome," the car care consultant said. "I watched her on last night's episode—and I was there, obviously—when she did her whiteboard thing. She's always had trouble with expressing her emotions and she's really opening up a whole new part of herself. If she's willing to go to that extent he will acknowledge that."

Eliminated intruder Jamie-Lee Dayz doesn't believe the rumours about Nick's relationship status either, and picked Brooke Blurton as the winner.  

"I think [Nick being single] would be a real shock. I don't think that that's the case at all," she told E! News. "He has incredible connections with a lot of the girls in the house and his connection with Brooke is so evident. I would be absolutely shocked if he doesn't pick her, or really hone in on one of the connections with the other girls. There's a lot of potential in the house."

I don't believe for one second Jamie thinks Brooke wins.  She'd be fully aware that Britt and Sophie are the final 2 IMO.  

As usual I feel the eliminated contestants are just parroting what they've been told to say to paint the picture TPTB wants people to see.

I agree with @Dirty Street Pie - they're just setting the audience up for a blindside when Brooke exits at F3, IMO.

Yeah, it was odd. Not a normal circumstance, for sure! We all just all stuck together and didn't let Nick's relationships with anyone come into our friendship circle. We really had each other's backs.

Who do you think Nick fancies the most?

I'm going to have to say Sophie. He seemed pretty blown away to me when she gave him that whiteboard presentation! She's got the most relatable nature. I would bet on Sophie being the winner.

That's interesting, because a lot of the hype has been around Brittany being the winner. Does Brittany have a strong connection with Nick?

Yeah, I can sense the connection from a mile away! It's interesting watching their dates back. It's a tough one to pick, but Sophie has the last single date with him, so I guess we'll have to see!
