I know everyone is not everyone’s cup of tea but yeah, for this franchise with all the glitters, mansion and millionaire illusions, I wished the lead was more model attractive...

@HEA, that clip was only a small sample of what was said about Nick on Gogglebox (full episode here). By the end of the segment they were saying they thought he might be "the best bachelor we've ever had".  His season is currently rating through the roof and I think by the end of the season he'll be one of the most popular/successful Leads the AU franchise has had.  He knows he's "no oil painting" and that's what makes him endearing, IMO. I want more from a Lead than just a pretty face.

sure! but IMO it goes with what many people think and this is my opinion too
but it was said and I found this funny that an old lady was so candid about it on cam.

Nick is not a bachelor who interests me one little bit. I am not watching the show but read the posts on this forum. The posts are enough to form my opinion I am not missing anything. Sophie’s series was very popular too, and I didn’t watch that, With regards to the popularity of Nick, he was always going to score well with viewers after the boring, teeth-grinding series of Matty J. But my question is, where will Channel 10 go from here? Obviously they have to stick with the ‘famous’ drawcard. But finding another Nick will be very difficult.

Gossips world say a bisexual lead season but I think. If this ever happen it will be bachelorette. Sadly there is a double entendre and bi male would not be popular.. which is a shame considering Australia voted yes a short time ago.

Gossips say Brooke who would fit the position... arborigene, pretty, smart, and bisexual...

For the male version, my only wish is him to be handsome, like really handsome....... and funny, and smart, and genuine

While clearly Nick is an acquired taste, I must admit that I am enjoying the season. He has grown on me. I am finding him to be charming and self deprecating. He does seem to be interested in more than just making out. He is asking questions and trying to get to know the ladies. Now I just want to see if he can bring the romance!

Fans are saying more basic girls; still no diversity 

People are still talking about how the girls didn't say goodbye to Vanessa and that they're nasty (general public don't know it was editing). It has been twice now that the editors have made Britt look unfavorable. 1st time was when she talked about the girls to Bernadette.... would they do this if she is F1?

you can add the ITM when she said "Classic Vanessa" about her heels. Not really mean but still mocking her.

(in fact she quickly removed them as we see her many times bare foot and then the following day they all had tennis shoes on top of all having winter clothes. so none of them came without change)
