Lighter dress for FRC is always the F1 for past seasons. 

Britt is definitely F1 going by that.

Lawwwd.. my opinions are so off from you girls. Watching the footage of the girls in the car Britt's Sky is blue and clear, Sophie's Sky isn't much different but I can see that the sun is starting to go down, hard to get a SC... If you watch it you can see the sun in the top corner of the window

Sophie's dress would clash terribly with Nick's suit - gold is a warm colour and blue is cool.  Britt's crisp, lighter coloured dress will complement his outfit much better.  Another tell IMO.  Also just noticed:  Ring sponsor logo over Britt's pic in preview.

I think the sun is lower in Britts by the difference in the colour in the sky. Doesn’t the sky get a deeper blue the further away from the sun it is?

@Bobette yep the dress color is matched to the Lead's blue suit they wear. Whichever dress color matches the leads suit and always a lighter color than the F2 is F1. 

They want those pics of the couple at the end and having coordinating colors with the lead and F1 are their priority imo. 
 
I don't see TPTB bothering to change this pattern when they've been doing it for 5 seasons and never bothered changing it back then


ETA: good catch on the ring sponsor. They did that with past F1s too
