Bachelorette 14 - Becca Kufrin - Episode 11 - Aug 6th FRC - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

@petesiepoo while I found all of them to be horrible, I think the one that stuck with me the most was the like of a video that implied that the children who were involved in the Parkland School shooting back in February were actors and that it wasn’t real.

I can’t even imagine being that dumb and sick in the head (IMO) to think that this incident wasn’t real when innocent children were traumatized for life and others were murdered all while at school.

It will be interesting to see what Becca has to say about this on the ATFR tomorrow since his likes will no doubt be a topic IMO. I’m hoping she digs a little deeper than her IMO ridiculous statement she originally gave.

@Ash2214....IA with you because ever since the SandyHook incident I have been mortified as to how this situation continues to be enabled in our society with people being numb to it and think innocent kids are child actors for crying out loud.

However **edited** well he makes Becca happy so whoopsy daisy let it be and move on....but i gave up on a good fraction of the human race at large a while ago with current ongoings in our world....so yeah not shocked at all.

These are examples of bad taste, but typically do not lead into anything remotely resembling a crime. All IMO, of course!

There is no comparison between bad taste and supporting/endorsing bias and bigotry which is what Garrett did, IMO. While it’s true his win is politically timely and he will have plenty of support and the backlash and negative comments won’t be as prevalent as they would have been 20 years ago, they will be significant IMO in spite of ABCs valiant efforts toward damage control (through an early reveal of the winner and a profuse mea culpa). IMO, once we get past tomorrow night, the Mouse House will not be risking their reputation even though the whole mess is their fault for once again failing to protect the lead through thorough due diligence on every contestant, IMO. 

Becca and Garrett will be on their own. If they truly are soul mates, they will be fine regardless. JMO

I maybe could cut him slack if he had happened on a random meme and liked it, but he kept hitting up that same awful clothing website and liking their posts. Yucky...jmo

After what ABC just went through with Rosanne, I wonder if heads rolled for Leo, Garrett and Lincoln? Someone should have paid. It’s so unfair to Becca. JMO

At the beginning of all this I chose to give Garrett a chance. Are we all defined by and limited to the content of our social media likes? I certainly hope not. I hope I am not solely defined by my posts here or my likes on twitter. People would think all I do in life is talk about the Bachelor! Is it not possible that someone comes from a small town with limited views and experiences things that change them? I think so. I believe there is positive intent out there. Garrett’s apology was the start for me. IMO, what we need more of are the Garrett’s who are willing to grow and be more open minded. That if you explain to them what if this was your child or your sister, how would you feel? It’s the ones who double down and don’t apologize and show no remorse that we need to be worried about. Garrett hasnt done anything to show me he’s not willing to change. Obviously time will tell, but I’ve chosen to give him the benefit of the doubt. And it’s allowed me to enjoy their love story this season. And I’m very much looking forward to seeing how they as a couple have worked through this very topic. Now bring on the finale!

It’s ok for folks that want to give G the benefit of doubt right now to do so and it’s ok if others are waiting to see if true reformation and transformation occurs....everyone is entitled to how they want to deal with it. I for one don’t go on SM posting or liking things that are not reflective of me as a person so it’s hard for me to buy that argument that we shouldn’t define folks by what they put on SM but to each their own......jmho.

Since this is an EPISODE watching (sadly I couldn't be live), anybody want to talk about the FINALE???

I guess you’re clarifying because your upper post dissed those that don’t feel like you imho. Using the word “appalled “ and connecting it to how others feel isn’t cool. I’ll leave if for the Mods to decide.

I wasn’t clarifying, was responding to another post after mine. I maintain my opinion that it’s appalling to me to excuse away the likes but like you said, let the mods decide, it’s all good
