I'm guessing here, but possibly there are a couple of reasons. It's quite different behind the camera than in front, and perhaps he didn't expect to fall in love and just couldn't find a comfort level (at least as far as we've seen) with cameras in so close?

^^I'm not sure what actual acting he's done (in front of the camera)... I know he's done a lot of behind the scenes stuff though. Maybe he's not comfortable in a "reality" situation, where he has to bare his feelings for a girl.

There are a few things going through my head. That Larissa (not sure of her exact name) producer is from LA, right...which is where he has been filming reality shows I assume. Worried that it could be that she got him on here....since he wants to be an actor. Is he acting on the show? The shy guy that is shown doesn't seem to fit with his myspace site and pictures. Just a little confused. Makes me happy to know that he did buy a house in MN..so maybe they are the real deal. Hoping...

He's mentioned that a friend of his from church (in MN) has done casting for other CMT shows in the past. Basically his casting friend recommended him, which he was very reluctant to do and have rejected several times since he wanted to focus on his farm and his music.

I don't see Jeremiah being uncomfortable in front of the camera in a situation where he is acting or singing...but def uncomfortable around the camera where he is expected to bare his heart and soul to the woman he is falling in love with...one that is dating other guys. They are two completely different things. JMHO.

Since I have met Jeremiah personally, I would like to share my lens with you on what I saw and learned of him the night of his viewing party.

Jeremiah was completely humble and down-to-earth...just the way he comes across in his tweets.
I could tell he loves his family very much and he is loved just as much in return. He was toting around nieces and nephews and had them cuddling on his lap.
The majority of people there were family and friends, but he treated everyone the same...even those of us that just met him for the first time. Mr. Bee and I felt like family by the time we left.
Jeremiah was very funny during the viewing of the show. He was coming up with one liners left and right. We were watching the night of the combine date, so he had a lot to say...he totally made fun of himself.
After the show, Jeremiah sang and played acoustic guitar. This is where he shines. Seeing him perform his songs was the most amazing experience. He sang "Hallelujah" and "This Paige is You" with so much passion I could feel it down to my bones. "Tonight" was pretty phenomenal too. Okay, every song was great!
In between songs, he would tell us stories about things that happened in the house. He was very comfortable talking in front of a packed crowd, but in a very grounded way. He talked about his faith openly, as it is a big part of his life. Oh, and he was drinking Red Bull and water the whole evening.
Jeremiah sees his music as a gift from God and is happy that sharing this gift brings joy to others. He is completely sincere about this. You can also tell that from his tweets or FB posts.

I hope by sharing this, it gives you a little more insight into who he really is instead of how he is being portrayed in this strange and somewhat disfunctional situation he found himself in...unexpectedly falling in love on a show. And this is also JMHO. He never said a word about how far he makes it...

Thanks for that! It does make me feel much better. Kind of fits in with Paige's saying that she likes wild/bad boys with good hearts!! He also has shown how religious he is on is FB page and said something one time about him being a sinner finding God. Not exact words. I am sure that he had his share of fun in the last 10 or so years and is now ready to settle down.

I don't really think that Jeremiah having film or TV aspirations (whether in the past or present) is necessarily a bad thing. Paige has been a part of several shows herself, so I would think that might be something they have in common that they are both interested in.
