Yeah, I didn't watch BIP US as it was right in the middle of our Bach so I don't know how it all played out (except for Jordan, who did get played) but I would think most of them would be up for more fame ho-ing IMO Caroline would likely need a familiar face, so there might be another girl from US.

Yeah I don't think they could get away with having only one girl after having 4 international boys last year (though there are already a LOT of girls on the cast list...).

I edited my previous post to say there are a few Canadian girls from Chris L's season who would add something IMO (haven't checked their SM for clues yet though).

I read on reddit that Caroline didn't post on her twitter/IG for a solid 2 weeks. However, she does have the type of IG account that you can schedule posts. And, back when I did follow her, she and her sister would take over each other's accounts at times so I think she might have scheduled some posts during that period and her sister filled in with some of the more timely posts (there was one about the wildfires in CA). If I remember right, her sister posted a couple of times during the period when Caroline was gone for BIP5.

Reddit also said she had tweeted about "wanting a foreign man" before that 2 week period and then liked a tweet of Osher's after. Someone also said she was hanging out with Alex and Peter in Miami over the weekend.

Wouldn't that be something if she and Alex had to go all the way to Fiji to film BIP AU to find each other?

Ohhhhh interesting, thanks for the info @havadrpepper - that all ties in with what I've read too then.  

So it seems Caroline and Alex might be a success story for this season (one of not many by the looks of it!) even if she didn't get her "foreign man".  Very ironic if two Americans had to leave the country to meet but I guess that kind of thing happens IRL a lot too (holiday romances and all).

It will be interesting to see how the AU audience will respond to them considering there won't be an AU component (especially if they make it to the end).  It occurs to me that might be why then had 4 boys last season - to "force" them to include at least one familiar contestant in every couple.

I could see Chelsea and Jordan as the kind who would jump at the chance to get on some more TV.

Benoit too ... Benoit and Jordan were both done wrong by Jenna (albeit in very different circumstances) however most Australian viewers wouldn't get the backstory there so it would be lost.

Very complimentary article about Cass "being in a good place" and a positive spin on her acting career as an extra.  Combined with the Sportsbet odds I'm definitely thinking she goes far and her pairing (with Nathan?) will be one that makes it to the end.

There is no 2 week period that Caroline didn’t post so reddit is wrong about Caroline not posting for a solid two weeks. The longest Caroline went not posting was ~4 days. She posted and was commenting during the entire time of filming. Not sure where this “2 week period” is coming from. 

IA it’s likely Caroline had someone else posting or scheduled posts and someone else commenting if she was on. It’s not unusual since other BIP AU contestants have done similar. Will be interesting to see if Caroline is on the show and when she arrives. Considering only 3 1/2 weeks of filming and Alex not on for most of it then likely she would be on a for short time.  

Alex was back in the USA before filming ended so if Caroline was on then not sure how long she was on and strange that they wouldn’t end at the finale together but considering Alex has his sister’s wedding then that’s probably why. Is it possible that Alex was interested in Caroline before he went on BIP AU and so with her after filming? I assume she was on a few days at least on the show though but likely not very long if Alex wasn’t on long.

Caroline MIA/not posting on SM during filming = maximum of 5 days total between posts so if she was on then maybe a short time or someone posting/commenting for her   I haven’t checked to see if she liked or commented more than the dates I listed during that time so it could be even fewer days than 5 days of her having inactivity.

I could see Caroline on the show though and paired with Alex Bordy. Not sure about it lasting but I could see them together

ETA: Caroline posted on her IG at Key Largo. It looks like Alex to me. So likely spending time together

I no longer follow Caroline but I was following her when BIP5 was filming. There were IG posts during the time she was gone but there were absolutely NO IG stories. And, when I did follow her, she posted IG stories ALL THE TIME. So maybe the person on Reddit follows her and realized that she did not post any stories during that 2 week period. Just a possibility. When I looked at the posts during the filming period for BIP AU, I noticed that some of them were definitely more business like (something that could be scheduled) and some were more personal, much like what her sister posted for her before. So I do think it is possible that she might have been gone for almost 2 weeks. And, maybe she wasn't filming the show the whole time but stayed for a vacation while she was there. Time will tell on all this. She also may have had her phone for a part of that time if she was in a hotel either waiting to go on or after she left.

Knowing Caroline, she'll end up spoiling it before the show airs. She can't keep her mouth shut!

@havadrpepper Caroline had IG stories while they were filming BIP AU. It doesn’t mean much though as IG stories don’t have to be in real time so they could have been uploaded while/if she was filming. I tried looking to see if diimex or matrix has any bts pics but I never saw any of Caroline, only Alex. 

It’s definitely possible if Caroline was on the show she was there for more than a week. But given Alex was back before they filmed the finale, they weren’t a final couple for the finale if she was on. 

So I don’t think it really matters regarding spoilers as most audiences won’t likely know who they are (even Daily Mail didn’t when they ‘revealed’ Alex to be a contestant  ). Plus it’s 5 months until the finale would air which is way too long imo and since neither one lives in Australia to be papped I don’t see it mattering if they date in public (that’s if they last the next 5 months).
