I can say this. I really appreciate he actually took some ownership instead of going the “I’m sorry your offended” route. I really appreciate that this apology doesn’t have passive language.  JMO

Hmm. I guess. but at least he owned up to it. JMO.

ABC or or Becca or what, but the vast majority of comments is overwhelmingly positive, both from fans and his friends, so it strikes the right note. Maybe that’s why it took so long to craft

So this apology is Own it up that he didn't think that liking those kind of post wast mean and also yesterday Becca was saying to keep an open mind, so which is it?

Good for him for owning up to it (not the he had much of a choice anymore). I genuinely hope he does change, and isn't just issuing the apology to get people off his back. It did kind of grate on me that he kept calling it a "mindless double tap" (already him trying to lessen what he did), and I would've liked him to address and apologize directly to the minority groups that were being targeted instead of just using the broader term, "all walks of life".

For me, the posts he mindlessly double tapped were too extreme for me to believe that it was all jokes to him. I'm certainly still not drinking the Garrett kool-aid. There are more important things to me than supporting their "love story" but I'm glad he said something instead of ignoring it.

Nah, if Becca has written it, it would probably say "chillax, dudes. It's a free country!". Becca doesn't do the type of PR work that people think she does and if clearly showed in the way she chose to handle questions about him. Whoever helped him with this is actually super good at their job, because it's definitely one of the better celebrity apologies I've seen. I don't think we'll ever know if he's sincere or not (like I said before, he never struck me as the type to call gay people the f word or anything like that), but that's not really our problem now. I'm just completely uninterested in Becca's season, but I'm ready to let it go. IMO.

So..from the look of it...do we agree that G begins to smell like a rose, now?
