I liked him as well.  The guys I like the most are sent home early.  Probably because they are too normal and boring for this show.

Could also be because the lead isn’t attracted to a specific person night 1 and doesn’t want to drag them through the process if they seem to be nice/normal. Possibly better to keep the few s/he is attracted to plus others who will make good tv or appear tougher skinned.
Joe is definitely being hyped IMO. When does the cast start filming BIP?

I would think in a week or two. They normally start sometime in June.

I wish she would have given Joe a chance and kept him around longer...and they make a great looking couple!

If they’re single ... I could imagine one of them wanting to meet him after watching episode.... like I said, he’s the only one I really liked and his sweetness seemed genuine to me.

I think she met up with him because she tweeted asking recommendations of where to eat in Chicago... and people were saying Joe’s grocery store LOL

Joe’s cute, but I didn’t get much from him at the M&G except that he was ready to marry Becca right then.  Okaaaaay.  

Regarding Garrett's apology, I think that it's nice (and needed.) Does it change my mind about him? Not really. I tend to think of the oft-quoted saying, "When someone shows you who they are the first time, believe them."

I'm used to the leads picking someone that I would never pick for myself (which is fine, of course.) But what I do ask is that they pick a decent person -- someone who is respectful, has good manners, and has empathy for others. I'm not convinced that Garrett passes the smell test.

As for Joe, I hope the swim trunks bode well for an appearance on BiP. He is a handsome man. He could easily fill the sort of "regular guy" slot that Vinny filled. I'm glad that Becca connected with him in Chicago.
