I was wondering if she had a different PR schedule due to Memorial Day isn’t JK in LA?  Becca was in NYC yesterday so clearly set up prior to the Garret news. I think the holiday caused her not to be on JK as he didn’t film on Monday. Nothing to do with Garett at all. She did all the normal Tuesday press.

Regarding Garrett questionable “likes” in light of the Roseanne deplorable and racist tweets and the consequence of her behavior, what’s the difference between his likes and possibly liking hers.

Disney was a client I worked for awhile back.  They have very strict code of conduct measures for their employees, vendors etc.  MF and company may feel the heat.  

First thing I wondered about too. Rosanne was many more millions, I think I saw 17 million? Do they care about 5 million IDK.

This is nuts. Turn off the comments and save yourself all this misery. To me he is trying to control this mess on his SM IMHO, it's not going to work. I noticed when the new account surfaced he appeared to be deleting comments. I was going to bring one over, but when I went back to get it, it was gone. I radomnly checked and now I know for sure that's what he's doing.

How can he look at his account day in and day out and delete and block which to me would be all day long? While the others guys are posting happy IG pics, he has one posted. I say he should turn off comments, and continue to live his life, post pics every day or so, like everyone else, maybe that would improve his image a little. Maybe he should hire Mrs Murray.

His original account was the one that liked all of the posts being talked about. He blocked my friend and is blocking anyone who talks about it actually

There is a huge difference, IMO. Roseanne has been a controversial figure for YEARS and ABC was scrutinized for giving her back this platform given her long standing hateful viewpoints. And it ended exactly how most thought it would, it’s not surprising. Her tweets yesterday were not a first time offense by any means.

G is one of 28 contestants on an apolitical reality show. He’s not the star, he is a random guy from Reno who days ago no one would have given a poop about. His influence compared to Roseanne’s is abismal and he does not have a long standing history of hatred or turmoil.

I don't get why Garrett/ABC won't just release a statement? Its so easy.
If he doesn't defend himself on SM, then there's only one explanation right, I mean if those likes weren't true then he should deny them.
I get that it might be an abc contract thing, but i still still he should at least say something. Or does he not feel any guilt or remorse for those disgusting posts

He shouldn't have to apologize for his opinions if those are his beliefs IMO.
Declare that he's had an Epiphany and he doesn't know what he was thinking?
He's a sinner and will never like a controversial post again?

IDK I'm not sure what the right thing to do at this point, but IMHO turning off comments would be the first step.

Garrett can't just issue a statement on his own.  He would have to have approval from ABC.  And IMO if he truly believes in what he liked, IMO regardless of if he apologizes or not, he's still not going to be well liked or immediately forgiven.  Even if he issues an apology and tries to be more open minded, it will take time and watching his behavior and actions to see any type of change or growth, IMO.  

At this point, IMO, the head honchos are probably deciding how to best handle it.  They can't come right out and say anything that will make it obvious that Garrett is indeed the F1 without spoiling it for a large part of the general viewing audience that doesn't keep up with spoilers.  And its a topic some do not want discuss or let interfere with their regular television viewing of a IMO somewhat silly, trashy, reality show.  

I agree at this point, turning off comments or at least ignoring/not reading or responding would be a wise move.

i think they are still waiting and see on what to do, depending on how the snowballs goes . I wouldn't be surprised if G and BK are getting serious media couching from here and out...

ITA ,the hidden likes and turning off comments are part of the measures. IMO

This is a huge mess!  Poor Becca, I feel so badly for her.  If we're going to suggest conspiracy theories, I would HOPE the real conspiracy is that the "convenient" photos TMZ bought of them toasting at the FRC was really some other date, staged by ABC, to throw people off, and she really picked Blake!  Who would NOT pick Blake, ugh?!  Allow me to dream at least. As far as ABC/Becca being silent on Garrett's likes, ABC always ignores the spoiler, right?  If they even mention Garrett's behavior, they are giving it too much importance at this point in the show since for all we know, he gets elminated next week. JMO
