I just read RS’s column. I’m seriously, SERIOUSLY eye rolling at his “waiting to let the guy give his take” before he persecutes him stance. Then, he kind of floats the idea that this could be a conspiracy against Garrett.

Is RS for real? Give me a break. What a hypocrite. Where was all this compassion and wait and see attitude when he was frying Ed, and Nick, and Arie, and Jef, and Jordan, and all of the other countless “playas” with his massive exposés against these guys. He did all that without giving them the grace of waiting to hear their side.

And the conspiracy theories that Garret could be set up. Is he for real? Literally in the same column he makes fun of conspiracy theories that people could come up with that Garrett isn’t F1. Then he launches into some idiocy that “maybe the likes are a set up.”

Give me a break. Also, don’t get me started on the comment section and the ignorant people agreeing with Steve.

I don’t see any need to ship Becca and Garrett. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

RS likes Garrett imo because someone or ones from Garrett’s camp threw him a crumb. That’s how RS works. Work w him, he is your best buddy. Deny him and you’re the devil incarnate.

I just think at the end of the day, a whole lot of people are totally cool with those likes, and even agree with them on some level. They just aren’t stupid enough to like it themselves. RS is probably one of those people.

RS has never striked me as open minded, and I wouldn't be surprised if he holds some controversial beliefs himself. Just a feeling based on years of reading his columns. He lives very much in his own little bubble. I was not surprised to read that he's waiting to hear from Garrett. JMO.

I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Before announcing the show cancellation,  Bob Iger called Valerie Jarrett, target of Roseanne's tweet and told her he has zero tolerance for that sort of bigoted racist comment.  Iger is CEO of Disney, abc's parent company.  I don't think this Garrett IG mess is going to just go away.

Disney was a client I worked for awhile back. They have very strict code of conduct measures for their employees, vendors etc. MF and company may feel the heat.

ITA with this...on reddit it was reported, someone feeding him is a super conservative well-known guy in Dallas, who provides RS a platform (talk show on the radio ?or he owns the radio.(?)). RS just goes with the saying "don't bite the hand that feeds you"

IMO there are plenty of guys like Garrett in the franchise who probably agree with these likes, but they are groomed and branded to perfection in order to sell their MVMT watches and Fab Fit Fun Boxes.

Totally. I’d go ahead and name the ones I suspect for sure, but this is prob not the place.

This is just how RS is when it comes to actual problematic behavior. I remember when Kelly Travis was on his podcast and she spoke about Andi's book exposing Josh and he was very critical of Andi and basically said she should've kept Josh's abuse to herself and Kelly replied that there were so many worse things that she knows about Josh that Andi chose to leave out and RS still defended him. Same with the Amanda thing when she wanted to expose Josh and RS was the one to convince her to keep quiet 'for the sake of her kids'. He exposes the trash behaviour of these men when it comes to womanizing because he's jealous and insecure about the men in this franchise in regards to women, but everything else is small potatoes to him. All jmo.
