I doubt she asked these tough questions too. I mean, logistically the only place she could was those few late night hours in the fantasy suite. By then she was already in love with the guy. If I’m in love, I’m probably assuming the best about someone and not feeling the need to be like “hey, are you a homophobe/racist? How do you feel about the wall?”  I’m sure these thoughts never crossed her mind as things she had to worry about.

@Loulou nice post....the idea that Becca deserves happiness despite all that she has gone though so Garrett should not be held accountable for things he has liked at the expense of groups that get affected the most by bigotry is mind boggling to me. I wish Becca well but it’s actions or inactions that defines a person IMO; it’s not the number of times one has been in a relationship that is if she so chooses to walk away from the current one...all jmho.

So true, knowing he supports a political party doesn’t translate to an active bigot imo. How would she even think to ask that? I’ve dated a lot and never once thought to ask my dating partner if he’s part of a hate group. It’s insane to me. But thanks G for making all the baddies who came before look like St Baddies

@stuckinsc I agree. Becca knew how this show is produced and getting the Neil Diamond ring (again), the twirl (again) and tons of media exposure (still) was worth it to her. IMO.

Surely the most dramatic discussion ever will be filmed - it's part of Becca's journey and the viewers are entitled to see it. I hope she'll ask the tough questions: do you always park your vehicle in the spot assigned to you? Have you ever consensually dated more than one woman at a time? Did you find the glimpse of my muffin-top in beach photos revolting? 

I'm so ready to see Becca do the damned thing! IMO. 

@sosleepy....IA with you but now i wonder how the heck did Rachel find time to ask these important questions. I remember her saying in an interview she had a list of questions that she had to get to the bottom of that included religion, politics, finances etc I think TPTB in-house psychologist should coach all leads to do this for real...jmo though.

Well... I think Rachel, being African American, didn’t have the priviledge that Becca does not to have to overtly worry about this stuff and have these concerns. Also, personality difference. Say what you will about Rachel, but she’s a badass lawyer get down to business kinda girl. Now Becca, I love. She’s actually more my people. But me thinks she graduated from the Jillian Harris school of dating/picking men.

Cast have plenty of time to discuss many things off camera, if they choose.
Cast have discussed divorce, religious differences, finances, children and moving. Filming has shown us cast discussing previous red flags. I don’t for a minute think filming will show anything political. The show isn’t the West Wing or Madame Secretary.
I do think cast can and do have deep talks any time they can if they want to. We have heard this time and time again from cast.
I liken this to buying a car. You may like the looks, like the dynamics and love the ride, but most do pay attention to the more boring things like mileage, safety issues, reliability and performance.

Sorry, there are plenty of SC photos that were taken before some clean up was done. His account is now either inactive or down. Damage control maybe too late. Look at # bachelorette some posts there.
As I mentioned earlier, once the toothpaste is out of the tube, it’s out ... and hard to put back in. The way this SM crisis happened, it’s in too many places now, it’s been seen and Becca has most likely seen it all. And with him deleting everything, it does not look too good.

I wasn’t talking about his account or him deleting anything. I talking about the posts he supposedly liked. I could not find any of actual Posts that he like on those IG accounts, it’s like the posts don’t exist. I’m not talking about his likes or him deleting anything. I think he deleted his account because of hate. Also I’ve only seen 1 set of screen shot and it was from the account that started it all. I haven’t seen anything otherwise.

She strikes me as being the type of person who is "kindly naive" (which has no correlation with her being a smarty pants IMO). We'll see how far GnB ship sails. TWT

I think a lot of this is getting confused.  She may have asked them their political view ( democrat, Republican, independent, etc.). 

None of those mean you have these views.  I doubt Rachel asked Bryan if he was a bigot.  We are confusing two different things.

Right, I just cannot fathom how his convo goes in the fantasy suite to ask the man you’re falling in love with- hey sweetie, do you have any white hoods in your closet?! D@mn. This is all beyond the pale. Truly imo.
