What a fascinating family history. Even as a mobster his Grandfather must have had a charming personality with a nickname like "Joe Shine". Joe may have been raised as a law abiding citizen with a police officer dad and brother but maybe he did inherit some of grandpa's more shining qualities. Also, Joe attending an all male school explains his shy awkwardness with girls. I can't help but like and route for Joe. Sure hope the Judges will be fair this season so he will make it at least half way instead of being so critical to those just learning to dance in comparison to praising ringers with dance experience!!!

Looking forward to watching him dance tonight! and to see Kendall in the audience cheering him on.

I feel the same way.. I think he will get a lot of votes because people really liked him the short time he was on the Ette and then BIP.

Chicago Catholic school boys are the absolute BEST! Trust a Chicago Catholic school girl.  

I'm not going to watch the whole show but will watch a video of him & Jenna (and also Nancy McKeon). I wish him luck.
