And, I see it a little differently.  I see Lauren changing her mind to move up in the "sports" world.

After all she started out with a low-level hockey player.

I don't see him as acting like he's above others....NOT by a long shot.  IMO, it boils down to his season and how it turned out.  IMO, things were fine when it was thought that he chose one particular person, but when he changed his mind, the hatred started on SM and in the media not to mention various boards.  IMO, because of that, IMO it's so easy to pick on them as a couple now as I see it in SM and other media outlets.  I find that it's so weird how this guy that was so liked can immediately be dissed by info that came out that is far from being proven.  That just seems so bizzare, IMO.

Sorry, but I beg to differ with this. I was unspoiled for most of the season and was ragging on him pretty much throughout...before he picked anyone! And I didn't care who he picked! His flip flopping after the fact only reinforced my already existing opinion and nothing he has done post show has changed that opinion...and this is coming from someone who found him likeable for the most part during Emily's season.

I don’t remember Arie ever being a fan favorite quite frankly pre/during/post show. IMO.

Arie and Lauren are supposed to be on The View tomorrow and it will be interesting to watch the interview and how they come across.  Nothing is going to get pass the women on that show.

@MiniDiva  I heard The View's promo for it:  Arie and Lauren 'will reveal exclusive details on their upcoming wedding only to The View'.  Should be interesting to hear what the 'details' are.

My issues with Arie have nothing to do with him pulling a switch.  Even if he'd picked Lauren to begin with I'd feel the same.  It's about Arie being Arie and his actions and attitudes.  

The switch did further prove to me that his patterns with women were indeed true and not something I could continue to give him the benefit of the doubt on.  But the switch itself was not the problem, it was how he handled it and his continued yucky behavior since.  

Their appearance on The View should be interesting.  If nothing else, it gives us new material to discuss.

It's how he and Lauren handled the switcheroo is what turned me off on both of them. They could have handled it in a totally different way. and now this dog party that was for good ol PR just makes it jmo.

And even if we did dislike Arie just because of the switch, so what?

I am curious why Arie/Lauren are doing media about their wedding this week, the week of the Bachelorette promotional.  Is this ABC's timing?  

@MiniDiva right!? how convenient I bet it's the same thing they have been saying "we want to get married ASAP, we are so in love!"

Hmmm, guess tigers cant change their lines or leopard change their spots as far as some are concerned, but IMO, IF Arie finally found the love of his life and is changing because of it....then I say that they will make a go of it and will get married. IMO they are both happy, in love, living their lives the way they want.....all the best to them!! As far as being around racetracks, isn't that Arie's job????? Therefore YEA he / they will be "hanging around racetracks" as that is a part of their lives and a part of who Arie is. As far as Arie's racing jersey having sponsors on it......don't they all?? Isn't that a part of the racing world? Isn't that a part of sports????
