Garrett Yrigoyen - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I have no doubt that Garrett is getting genuine support from other contestants on the show. I believe Garrett or anyone else could be on the show and be on their best behavior not showing less desirable sides of themselves. There are though other reasons for coming to his rescue with positive comments. Maybe there is some encouragement from TPTB to focus on the positive for the sake of the shows success. Also, there are more than a few contestants that want to see themselves as permanent fixtures in the Bachelor “family”. (Colton IMO.)They will go along to get along. I just don’t put that much stock in what the guys are saying bc I’m not sure what their motivations are. He is the “winner”, they all want to be his friend.

He probably got sick of people mindlessly double tapping following him and commenting mindlessly negatively on his post, so he just mindlessly deleted his account .

I really hope he doesn't take his relationship with Becca mindlessly though.

@Joy15 I hope she doesn't. Per IG she's in Madison now. I hope having a good heart to heart with her sister away from the Stockholm Syndrome that is tptb.

I read a comment on reddit that said something along the lines of "if you're engaged to the love of your life already, why do you need an Instagram to promote yourself? Focus on your real-life happiness and relationship." and I totally agree. Perhaps that's why he deleted it.

Maybe he's reading what people are saying online. Unhealthy, but plausible.

He also could've made the new Instagram account just to post the apology.

Love your humor! If only it was funny and light like that...as I said prior, this storm is far from over for him / them and they better get their seatbelts on...rock and roller coaster ahead.

maybe he has just decided that sm is not for him (which is a nice change from this franchise and all the shilling that goes on)....focus on becca and his fishing/hunting/mini van/having kids/soccer dad whatever...if that's the case then good on him - jmo

I would think her background would be valuable in how Garrett approaches the SM liked bomb.

Given he deleted or deactivated his original account then created another one on which he issued an apology and now appears to have deleted or deactivated that account, I think it possible these decisions are not in collaboration with Becca. Just doesn’t seem well thought through.

Didn't G have over 500 photos on the og account? I think SM would have been for him had he not embarrassed himself. He'll make a new account soon and hopefully it'll be on private. JMO.

I’m not sure if this is permanent or not, but I think staying off Instagram throughout filming is the way to go for Garrett. The apology got out there, and now focus on you and Becca. It’ll keep the hate comments at bay and show his main priority isn’t getting a following.

on the contrary, playing devil's advocate, i hope she DOES regard this relationship mindlessly . The amount of time they spent together is actually mindlessly nothing compared to a life time. (62 hrs while filming (source: Ali interview) + 72hrs SHV 1 + 72hrs SHV2 = 206 hrs, translate to only 8.5 days spent together). I would say, run fo yo life Becca!!

yep. last time i chacked his posts were at 564. He was an active IG user for sure, while Blake had only over 60 and Jason over 20.

I agree doing this show should not chain you to your choice, should it be the wrong choice. I don’t like the idea of a couple being together any longer than they have to simply to satisfy productions whims.
