I believe Arie and Lauren notified the paps...that whole filmed WTF-ever was totally staged before they even walked out of the hotel.

@Lucas15 IA from what I've seen in the international threads, they are remarkable! I remember one season, sorry I forget which, and any one of the sleuthers can remind me, DM took a photo of a van loaded up with luggage, after filming. The doors were open. TB was there getting into the van, or around the van?

Another pap got a pic of one of the F2,walking through the airport, and sleuthers matched her luggage to one of the ones in the van, which meant that van pic was when they were leaving ATFR and their couple of days together.

Contestants are covered by large umbrella's, when going from one site to another, or once we even saw plastic type of garbage bags covering them to get away from DM. Helicopters were also involved one season to keep the paps away. Some one please CMIIW I'm sure I got some parts of the story wrong.

I'm glad they are having fun with it, rather than being ticked off and storming off to get away. laugh out loud

IMO they don't need to call the paps, they are being followed everywhere. I'm sure Arie and Lauren can spot them as well.

I disagree. I've been in this situation, in my marriage. Being in a committed relationship is not always easy. That spark is not always there. I went through a period in my marriage where I really felt like I had made a mistake because my husband and I just didn't have the passion that I'd had in my previous relationship, but we got through it because I made the choice every single day to choose to love my husband and put our marriage first. I don't think it would have been impossible for Arie to get there with Becca. I think he just didn't want to make the effort. He took the easy way out, and IMO, he didn't do it in a particularly respectful or thoughtful way. I don't think Lauren is the "one" for him, but I do think they'll get married just to prove everyone wrong, because she seems desperate for a wedding and he seems desperate to prove that he didn't just get bored with Becca and cheat like he has in every other relationship. I think he'll be just as bored with Lauren as he was with Becca once the infatuation dies down in a few months (even more so if it's true that he "can't have conversations with her,") but he's backed himself into a corner with the way he rushed to propose to her and insisted that what they did to Becca was okay because they're meant to be. All just IMO.

Second, IMO, a brand new relationship should not have to walk this path to start off. It shouldn't. These are usually things that break something fragile and new. A new relationship should have all the butterflies, good feels etc and not the doubts and struggles, IOW a good foundation. IMO If you don't have it then, it's very hard to re-capture.
IMO it's one thing to have an investment in a relationship to be committed to making it work. To have all those good memories and emotional investments to help pull you throw the tough times. Even then, I have seen many not able to want to work it and throw in the towel for whatever reasons. Without a solid foundation, IMO it is very hard to to build something lasting.

When I was dating my DH, we were in a long distance relationship for two years and we talked for hours on the phone every day. This was before Skype, FaceTime and basically the the internet went...Skaweerureeweert! laugh out loud

Arie said Lauren is witty and I can see glimpses of this on their SM and even in the video of them in Barcelona. At one point, Arie started laughing at something she said and you could tell it really tickled his funny bone.

IMO Arie is a tool, a very sexy tool of course, but the likes of which Home Depot specializes in nonetheless. So you know, I 1000% believe an articulate wordsmith like Lauren would be right up his alley. Imo.

JMO but if I thought I was going to be photographed, especially if I was calling the paps, I would be wearing a bit more trendy, cute clothes. JMO
They are dressed pretty chill for those Barcelona photos, even for me.
