I wonder when they planned that trip. I think that is the best thing a couple can do, take off and get away together. It's a very elaborate trip that takes time to plan. Does anyone know when they'll be returning?

We still have the road trip to pack up Lauren to look forward to.

I am sure that Arie has seen on their travels less flattering aspects of Lauren traveling in such close quarters  (such as cranky mood, finding out each other poops, differences in schedules, disagreements about what to do and when, delays, etc.) frustrations and he is still hanging in there so far.  Traveling together is a good way to see what the other person is made of and how patient the are actually are.

Yeah I totally agree, traveling as a couple teaches you a multitude of things--about each other's true colors during moments of stress and fatigue, about being flexible and being able to compromise, about communicating better, etc. Not only are you relishing new rich experiences together and broadening your minds, but you're also strengthening the bond between you two when you commit to the adventure hand in hand because being on the road in a foreign location a bit outside of your comfort zone presents challenges on the daily that you have to co-accomplish. So far, I see ease and laughter and love between Arie and Lauren.

The difference in the progress made between their two gelatos. Lulz. It reminds me of their 2nd one-on-one date when they were walking the streets of Luca with gelatos in hand and Arie was taking full-on bites out of his haha. He's the one with the insatiable sweet tooth out of the two after all.

Yes, to all of it. It is combination of adventures yet being right on top of each other nonstop and figuring out how to mesh.

To me you are not a couple until you have pooped in the same toilet which I suspect they have.

I was wondering that, too.  Arie said they’ll be doing the road trip from VA Beach to Scottsdale at the end of the month.  Maybe they’ll fly back to the east coast early this week and stay a few days in VA Beach while they pack up Lauren’s things.  

If he competes, Arie has a race in Long Beach April 13-15.  Maybe they’ll try to be in Scottsdale by Easter, April 1, so they can settle in for a week or so ?

IMO one of the most telling "true colors during moments of stress" that Arie may ever see about Lauren is when he broke up with her at the FRC - her reply was "I still love you". IMO that was a rare - and shining - moment for Lauren.

But I do agree that they really seem to be enjoying this trip and their time together - even hamming it up for the paparazzi. Otherwise they just seem to be a pretty normal couple taking typical normal travel pics - albeit a normal couple on a honeymoon ...

There is a semblance of "only us" "we-dom". And they clearly look IMO like they are enjoying each other and life. 
This way when they get home and have to start living reality, whatever that brings, they will always have this time, this bliss.
