4. Blake, 28: “He just didn’t have the momentum”
I sadly had to slow Blake’s roll this week. I like Blake a lot, and he did get that Group Date rose last week, but last night he just didn’t have the momentum that the other guys on this list had. Crucially, his Group Date 1-on-1 time with Becca wasn’t shown, while it was with fellow major players Garrett, Colton, and Wills. (Why isn’t Wills in this line-up? He told Becca he was falling in love with her but she still gave that Group Date rose to Colton, who made no profession. Not a great sign for Wills.) I dig Blake and like him and Becca together, but the fact that we didn’t see that bit of development this week gives me pause.

The final one-on-one date brings Becca and Blake some much needed alone time, which they haven’t had since the early weeks of the journey. They walk hand-in-hand on the beach and see a large group of people rocking out to the homegrown group Baha Men, performing their massive dance hit “Who Let the Dogs Out?” as well as “Bumpa.” The pair joins in the infectious, heart-pounding dancing. At a more quiet dinner, Blake shares how his parents’ particularly rough divorce shaped his perspective on relationships and proceeds to reveal to Becca his true feelings for her.

not that there is a slight doubt over who the F1 is...LOL..but yeah, Blake was out and about in Denver yesterday with friends. FWIW

tbh i really like that he seems to resume his life pre-show, just being a fun, chill, lowkey guy that he is. He barely posts IG story (only 1 BTS pic for the last 2 epis), had only 1-2 pics up to promote the show on his IG each episode (Except epis 4 ), and just liking the fans/the cast's comments about the show in general. He definitely is not trying hard to sell himself post-show, which is a plus point in my book IMO.

Then again, i start to wonder if he is too lowkey to promote himself, that he may loose the TB gig to Jason or Colton who seem to pull all the stops already?. . I really don't mind the former, but please a thousands no to the latter (with the whole virginiTEA storyboard which seem to be right up in MF's alley..gag!). Ugh! . Anyone else has the same thought?

IMO Blake actually reminds me a lot of Art Green (Bach NZ), a cute tall chill fun guy who has just a right amount of charisma to carry the show and knows what he wants. I really want to see Blake finds his own Matilda on the show! .Cmon Fleiss.... make it happen .

I LOVE your comments about Art and Matilda... I watched most of that season and really liked it. It seemed to me much more about the actual relationship building between Art and the ladies. And he is probably one of my favorite Bach I’ve seen anywhere. So, if Blake could be similar in style, let’s go! Unfortunately the American version tends to look for drama / ratings before anything else, so we’ll see.

yeppers..Art season is my all time fav of all Bach shows,and the first international Bach i watched religiously. I found myself drolling over him all season long..LOL..while still be able to enjoy his articulate convo with all the girls and gleefully savoring his love story blossomed with Matilda. Just perfect ten all around!!.

Another take away from his season :
- Matilda was the first FIR gal...so...i guess..there is a thing called a man's intuition y'all.
- An injury should not be an obstacle if a cast has a real connection with the lead. (re: Matilda's horse accident). > looking at you, Clay!

Poor Blake. I love his "genuinity"- sorry i can't help myself . He is so endearing. I like that he tried his best to keep his sanity by being rational, while acknowledging he was so invested in Becca and that he got a serious competitor in G. I am dreading of the finale already!

Side observation: just like Becca, apparently " i'm not gonna lie" is his go-to line too..

On an upper note, i hope this kind of promo highlighting him meant a good sign for him being the next TB. Here is to hoping!

@Joy15 SERIOUSLY We think so much alike... you just nailed everything I did not dare say about the Art and Matilda season...and we seem to like the same guys here too.
So I watched that video and was almost tearing up as Blake’s voice was breaking... oh My ...it made me sad to know how she left him simmer without any dates as she tripled down on Garrett. You can tell he feels it ( both that she is so into G and that HE is hurting for longing to be with her some more) to keep him waiting that long is uncool, it’s almost like she knew how he felt and that no matter what would ‘ wait ‘ for her... Maybe I’m too sensitive but it’s disrespectful to him. Am I right that he is the one that waited the longest between dates and also between HTD and Final date? I know his heart was broken and do hope he will recover with someone who is HIS HEA either with Bach gig or otherwise. Such a good, kind and special guy.
