Blake Horstmann - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Blake is Sharleen's fav so far :
My hands-down favorite of the season so far is Blake, who manages to come across as self-deprecating and self-aware while still possessing the right amount of swagger and confidence.

2.  Blake, 28: Something about Blake really stands out to me. He has an old school sort of good looks, like he could come from a different time. Like, I can totally picture him in a 1950s diner as depicted in a Norman Rockwell painting… Ahem, more importantly, Becca is a major fan. His “limo” exit, or rather, his entrance on an actual ox, was adorable (and shown!) and we got a substantial chunk of his 1-on-1 conversation with Becca, accompanied by romantic frontrunner music. to the bolded, i have seen peeps commented on IG referencing Blake as  Johnny Cash LOL.

I am seriously so sad that Blake isn't F1. I don't know why, but I can see Becca and Blake really being good for each other.. but i guess more Blake for me!

i think Becca has taken the correct words to describe them right from my mouth: they belong to the same wavelength...

i wished she realized that is super rare IRL, let alone on this silly show that you can meet someone with the same wavelength. BnB strikes me as another Chris-Des or Sean-Catherine..."two peas in a pod" couple, who just get each other effortlessly. Alas, she went with the one she had the hots the most. IMO.

Meh, I'm not ready to say she and Blake were meant to be or anything of the sorts.  Many were up in arms over Jojo picking Jordan over any of the rest of her top 4.  How could she possibly do that, the others were great and so much better options for her.  And look at how that turned out...the other 3 are thirsty, do anything for attention fame hoes.  I mean Luke was even casting his top girls

Jordan, Bryan, Shawn, etc. were all baddies in some shape or form, though their actions don't quite compare to Garrett's, IMO.  

But just because she chose someone other than Blake might not be a bad thing.  They may have truly only had a great bestie type friendship.  Or maybe they were too similar.  There are lots of reasons she may not have picked him that will come to light later as the season airs or the next begins.  And I mean reasons other than her having a faulty picker, which is a whole different convo and thread

All I know is that after watching last night, I couldn't see why she liked Garrett, and loved her interaction with Blake. He is definitely a keeper.

I look forward to Blake's interview with Ashley I about his first 1:1 more than the date itself

Yup, that's pretty much how it looked to me after episode 1.

Maybe Becca could sense that Garrett is a “bad boy”, looks like Ross and that’s what familiar. Blake would definitely be my preference but she might see him as too sweet.

It seemed like Garrett was her ideal man i.e. likes to fish/hunt (her dad), family orientated (lame minivan entrance) and athletic (played baseball). 

Meanwhile, Blake was actually on her wavelength (her words) and connected with her emotionally (similar romantic pasts + same perspectives)... sigh. It's her life, though. She has made her proverbial bed, and now she is lying in it with conviction.

Okay, but many of the guys checked the family oriented, athletic box. I think somehow she is embodying G with her dad's wonderful traits because they both liked hunting/fishing.
