Bachelorette 14 - Becca Kufrin - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

garrett might choose to air exactly what happened or he might not. Pretty sure He wld have shared the details w Becca by now. But with some sleuthing u can find that his ex remarried within the same year of the divorce and her current husband was also married and divorced his wife A few months bef Garrets divorce. 
Also there was no contentious divorce and it was granted almost immediately. This had been discussed in a prior post. 
Judging from his old IG they lived together bef marriage.
At this point it’s all speculation but I doubt anyone wld want to be divorced within a month.
life and Style ran the story and in touch prob picked it up. IMO L&S is rubbish. 
It’s interesting ‘the friend’ is concerned for Becca. Maybe she shd have slid into her Dm’s Rather than going to a tabloid. JMO

Knowing this show, I doubt it will. I suspect he will be sharing his own heartbreak during their 1:1. You know...so they can bond...and make out.

He was convicted May 21, 2018 for indecent assault and battery for groping and assaulting an adult female on a harbor cruise ship May 30, 2016. RS has more details about sentence, possible suspension of sentence if terms are followed.

I want to know how in the heck they allowed Lincoln on the show with that charge looming. A basic background check would catch that. It’s isnt like a traffic ticket. It’s a serious offense. TPTB really need to take a look at their casting process.

I can't believe I liked him on AFTR. First the poop thing, now this, not to mention his OTT antics on the show. What a creep.

Someone said on reddit that Jason Mesnick did an interview and talked about background checks. Apparently when he was a contestant, they vetted the contestants on criminal history and very little focus on SM because it wasn't as big back then. He said that in recent years they have turned their attention to vetting SM and less on criminal background checks.

IMO whoever is doing the checks (more than likely through an outside company) are not doing their job.

That’s terrible that they missed it. There has to be questions about criminal charges so did he lie or didn’t they ask?

Has this board ever been this quiet? Are other sites just as indifferent to this season?

Based on what was posted on RS Lincoln was most likely drunk and did something abhorrent. I wonder if he would have done the same thing if alcohol wasn’t involved? Hopefully he’ll learn a life lesson from the consequences of his actions and make different choices moving forward JMO

I'm tired of the same old thing year after year. Plus the Garrett fiasco was it for me.
I just check in for updates now and again.
