It's funny that people said that Becca/Arie's engagement was lacking in emotion. I mean, this one takes the cake. Such a 180 from what we just saw with Benoit/Clare and they barely know each other.

I will give them the fact that he looks SO much happier with Lauren then Becca.

Both families sitting together, an engagement on set vs otherwise, but an engagement none the less. and both of them getting congrats from their families....that's what matters. Them and their family, not me or anyone else in the grand scheme of things.

There was so much more emotion in that proposal than there ever was with Becca.

I’ve had to watch this unravel before I could weigh in. Becca wasn’t in on anything until possibly after the breakup and that’s why she allowed filming for her story. You can’t fake the emotion that girl had last night. Yes, Arie has a right to change his mind. He shouldn’t be trapped in a relationship. However, it does seem like he had things lined up with Lauren before breaking up with Becca. I wish he had broken up with Becca and then pursued Lauren. That would have been the respectful thing to do. This is all on him and Lauren shouldn’t receive hate.
