Poor Arie, he was so wiling to do what the parents said, but then little Arie fell all over Lauren all over again.

This looks like bad teenage love to me. The kind that fades fast once they go to college and grow up just a little bit.

I had better conversations than Lauren and Arie before I learned to talk.

they can't even hold a real conversation... These two are just total winners.

So the one noteworthy thing out of all the possible things he can say about Lauren is the speckle in her eye?

I didn't take that as a put down to Lauren. Just that at this point when there are only two of them left, it is difficult to think about Arie with someone else.

I also think that to be honest, it is being edited more that way as well. Then we also see why Becca may not be the next lead as well. IMO they wouldn't edit it that way if Becca was the next lead.
