I love ""The Price is Right" and always try to get tickets when I am in LA. Not excusing Becca's ex (b/c that was clearly producer prompted) but I don't equate any of those audience participatory shows (Let's Make a Deal, Price is Right, etc...) which are typically one and done with -- "Survivor" or "Love and Hip Hop" or "Bachelor/ette" or "Married at First Sight" etc... There's clearly a different intent and format between the two.

It will be interesting to see how the edit goes for Becca and the ex vs how it went for Damario and his ex last season.

I understand, but my point is he accepted this chance to fly to Peru and get a little paycheck to win Becca back. He clearly wanted to be on TV again. Most ex's would say, thanks, but no thanks. Jmho.

IDK. It all depends on the backstory with Becca and Ex and how TPTB sold the entire package to the EX. 
What if they made it out to the ex that Becca really wanted the Ex, but felt it was hopeless and was about to accept someone else's proposal? IMO the ex was a  pawn in the situation as much as a MOT, albeit a willing pawn. 
I don't think the EX would be flying to Peru in a poorly fit suit to propose to a woman considering someone else, unless he thought he really did have a chance. Being turned down is humiliating enough without it happening on tv. I don't think the ex was expecting this. Personally, I think he was led to believe he had a good chance and he needed to take it NOW.
