Admittedly I haven’t seen a single second of this season yet but I’m super impressed with Arie’s sense of humor on sm- he is really taking everything in stride, making fun of himself in a very likeable, “Awww shucks, I know I’m not perfect but aren’t I deliciously, devilishly handsome?” type of way and seems to be doing a great job. I don’t see any or at least very little hate for him on sm overall too. I want to catch up on the actual show now

I admit I am little confused by Arie.  He now says he can't say if he is in love because he can't say the ending whereas before he was saying he told two of them he loved them but he was happy with his choice and he was in love.  Either the producers are trying to coach him on what to say or has he had a change of heart?

He never said he is in love or engaged in previous interviews. Only said he is happy.
And since they are going to throw Becca's ex at the very end, I think he can't say if he is in love right now.  Otherwise, it will ruin the suspension at the end.

I swear there was interview (I think with Lauren Zima) where he said he was in love. But whatever, it just sounds the story changes and I realize could be the producers wanting nothing being given away.
