I'm a fan of Rachel's but I do agree that this statement doesn't make much sense. What she should have said was that her and Bryan wanted a tv wedding, but once they realized it wasn't in the cards for them, they went ahead and got married within 2 years anyway, because what they have is real. No need to compare to any other couple IMO.

I think she says this because so many people were skeptical about her relationship, but she should be over that by now IMHO.

I like Rachel but am lukewarm on Bryan. I am surprised he didn't have more guy friends attending his bachelor party. Maybe he is just reserved and quiet - not common for most Colombians though! However, after 2 years of dating, I think she would know if this was the right step for her and am happy she is having, what sounds like a fun, wedding.

Thinking back to the casting of her season, I wonder if Peter was cast with being a finalist in mind. He is SO different from Bryan. Frankly, if she knew she was picking Bryan at hometowns, then why did she have sex with Peter in the fantasy suite? I can't think it was Eric she was doing it with (stated above she had sex with 2 of her final 3).

We don’t know if Bryan had another bachelor party with close friends/family though.

I don’t like Rachel’s comment of being real though. I like her but have to agree that she can be petty and sometimes she needs to be more tactical.

Honestly I am so happy they prove many people wrong: they never moved to LA. Bryan is back to practice again ( I saw a 5 star review of him dated late June ). Rachel got her dream job in sports broadcasting. All good.

Is there a rift between Rachel and Bryan and the top dogs at the Bachelor franchise?  I'm surprised that CH, Robert Mills or any of them have congratulated them on their nuptials.  

I'm not much of a Rachel fan, but she is a beautiful girl, and I gotta say, that veil, and hair style  didn't do her justice. At first I wasn't so sure on the dress, but seeing it in the People video, it is very pretty, the veil takes away from it.

I was first surprised at her choice of dress. I expected something more edgy, bold, sexier, but after I saw videos posted by some guests, I liked it more. It looks much better in motion and without the veil, very feminine, delicate, and elegant.

Rachel said about 150 guests for her wedding, out of them, I see about 10 from BN. That’s great they didn’t get a TPTB sponsored wedding. I shudder to think what if the f2 was forced to show up?

IMO the entire look was meh. She usually looks stunning. I was disappointed totally. Glad they got married and best wishes to them!
