@Norcalgal same i already have the DVR set to record. might set my alarm for the actual time the wedding will start all i really want to see is her dress and Harry's reaction.

I thought that her mom might walk her down the aisle. Maybe she didn’t want the pressure.

I decided that I will get up at 5 to see the wedding portion before work. I just can’t do 4.

I think it is beyond lovely that Charles will walk her down. My sister-in-law who is an only child walked alone not per choice. It was a contentious wedding. Her parents did not attend. She asked my father-in-law if he would and my mother-in-law advised him not to. So that was that. Kudos to Charles for honoring the bride.

My dad wasn’t able to come to my wedding so I asked my bridesmaid's fiancé to walk me down the aisle. I’m an only also. I didn’t think of asking my future FIL.

@Kashathediva IA I think that's a wonderful choice, especially since Prince Charles does not have a daughter.

My uncle walked me down the aisle, my mother's brother, I wanted my father's brother but since he had walked my sister down the aisle, my mother wanted to be fair. Nothing wrong with my mother's brother, but I felt it was my father's brother that should have the honour. In the end, it didn't matter, the longevity of the marriage was the same!  

I read somewhere, she will walk down the aisle with the pageboys/girls, and Charles will meet her upfront somewhere, didn't understand the terminology and he'll walk her the rest of the way. How proud will PH be to see that sight of his dad and his bride!

@havadrpepper thanks for clarifying! When I posted that upthread, I had to leave, but I had no idea what the terminology meant.

@ElonM thanks for the pics. So sweet that her mother has been with her and will be staying with her tonight until the morning, I read that somewhere today as well as the plans for Mom to meet everyone. She is a beautiful woman, her daughter took after her.
