Meghan Markle’s Ireland wardrobe featured $15,000 worth of Canadian flair

t was hard to miss Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s newlywed glow as the couple made their way through Dublin on their first official overseas tour this week. But shining equally as bright over the past two days were the former actress’s dazzling jewels. To the delight of Meghan’s Canadian fans, and a beautiful nod to her former home base, the Duchess of Sussex donned two designs by Maison Birks .

For the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first day out exploring the Emerald Isle, Meghan paired her beautiful black Emilia Wickstead dress with a chic pair of Birks Muse Citrine and Diamond Drop Earrings , which ring in at $3,475. The gorgeous gems were perfectly accentuated by her old Hollywood waves as she and her husband mingled with a crowd of 300 at a garden party hosted by the British Ambassador.

Meghan’s first look on her second day in Ireland made us a bit nostalgic, and definitely did not disappoint! She paired her grey Roland Mouret dress – the long-sleeved version of the one she wore the night before her wedding day – with another dazzling pair of Birks baubles. The Snowflake Snowstorm Diamond Earrings , which she wore in white gold, come with a price tag of $12,000.

The duchess has clearly always had an eye for detail, from her picture-perfect makeup to the effortlessly stacked ring look she cultivated before joining the Royal Family – though these days she keeps it simple by letting her engagement ring shine solo. While aspects of her personal style have changed since exchanging vows with Prince Harry, one thing is certain: Meghan remains loyal to Birks! And with her bestie Jessica Mulroney lending a hand from her former hometown of Toronto, we’re sure to see the honourary Canuck continue to mix high-end designers with her favourite Canadian brands.
