I agree with you, HEA. Lindsey's family certainly seems to be a very loving and caring unit. In this situation, I would be the same!! I think, this hometown experience, for both Lyndsey and Chris, was the catalyst that got them both thinking and hence, Lyndsey's ultimate statement "I'm not ready to be engaged". HEA, I know that you don't agree with me and I respect that but I think that that was the game changer.

I think I might try to flip houses with a buddy of mine. But I have no Hollywood aspirations. Unless Dolph Lundgren needs a body double—but I suppose I’d need to pop some steroids first.

I think he will be fine and find something he will be passionate about. He played since he was 19 right? and he is 33. So IMO it is normal that he tries things here and there. I am sure financially he is fine so good for him!!!

I watched BachCan 2 & what I saw with April is she had problems with the process. She was questioning the reality of finding love and getting engaged in a couple of months. April didn't doubt that Tim had very strong feelings for her. (imo) He showed her & told her--She knew. She struggled with HER own feelings wondering whether they were real or just a result of being in the Bachbubble. I saw her struggle with that even on FRC--to me it looked like she was just going through the motions --. I do believe the rumors that she wanted to leave at MTP.
I think its not the same with Lyn. She is sure of her feelings for Chris and I think her nervousness is coming from not having a sense of what Chris feels.(imo) Maybe she doesn't feel secure in Chris' feelings

I'm re-looking at the screenshots @ReneeM provided of Mikaela's insta story from Wednesday...

The "LeRoux" thing is common amongst the girls but would an F2 refer to the lead as "bae"... Who knows why any on these people post anything on sm but considering Mik and Lynd seem very close, with respect to that relationship it seems odd Mikaela would call him that if Lyndsey ended up with him.

i agree with you.
We heard her saying that it is hard for her to see him forging other relationships as well.
we heard her saying to him that she wants to be sure of the man who will meet her family
We heard her saying with the Hang On saying: he gave me he reinsurance he did not know I needed (not verbatim)
we heard chris saying on PI that he understand that Lindsey wants to be reinsured (not verbatime but close)
Lindsey is stuggling since the Bomba and maybe before.

The only time I felt her secure was when he told her that he thought of her constantly at the extra time they spent after the baseball date. But we also heard her frustration that age was again an issue and she said that she wanted a guy who would be 100% into her the same way her grandparents were (again not verbatim)

I believe she struggled a lot during this process and IMO it is directly linked to her ex who cheated on her. Until the finale it is the nature of the beast to be insecure. However, for me, the lead would somehow find a way to re-insure his F1, mostly by touching if not saying. But the body language I see is not romantic during their talk. I am not talking about the aphrodisiac GD... that was expected from all of them.

We will see lot of kissing during the fantasy date, we saw the images. Again, I do not deny the chemistry with her but I question the emotional part. Like when he spoke with mik, his body is close to her versus when he speaks to lindsey. But a guy being a guy, he sure enjoyed the kissing during his season eh?

Based on what I see on screen Lyndsey is more of the physical connection and his usual type but week after week I see him growing more emotionally attached to Mikaela. JMO.

I think you’re right. IMO Chris has no plan because he expected to still be playing for at least five more years most likely. He loves the game so much, he played other places during the off season instead of building a bridge to retirement. That says a lot about his lack of preparation for this stage,, IMO

IMO this adjustment period from pitcher for the fabulous Yankees to every day citizen will be quite difficult for Chris. The dads would likely know this because it is a common issue for most pro athletes. I don’t believe Chris would be insensitive enough to drag a 23 year old along for the ride. He liked Lyndsey immediately but, seemed to recognize they are in different stages of their lives. (and we know she is still suffering from her last move (to NYC) for a relationship with an older guy.)

Meanwhile, her dad -who seemed a bit hostile in the clip - should be asking himself what’s really going on with his daughter, IMO. She’s a beautiful girl, men will always line up to take her away, especially older men - someone should figure out why she’s so eager to let them. Ten years is not too much older when a woman is 35 but, it’s too much older when you’re only 23, IMO. I most certainly would not want that huge gap for myself, my friends or, a daughter especially since babies are part of that bargain. Chris has said he is ready for a family.

I think ALL families ask the same basic questions at HTD. The extra ones come from what the women have told their families about the Lead and feelings(how they feel towards and what they think the Lead feels) , how invested they are. And I think the Lead knows at this point and will let the F1 know. I think everything is discussed at HTD and the Producers decide what they want to show & the rest is edited out.

BTW, is it 100%certain that its Lyn VO saying she isn't ready for an engagement? To me it sounds like Mik being very emotional--- AJMO

I agree. And as much as Chris talks about the loneliness of that lifestyle, ultimately he retired because he just wasn't good enough. He even says so in the interview.

Your last pitch was in 2016, for the Blue Jays’ Triple-A team. How did you know it was time to quit?
Because I gave up 10 runs in the first inning. I thought, “Man, I am not as good as I used to be!” There were times when I was certain I was going to achieve the Canadian dream of playing for the Jays, but it never happened.

So while I do think he would've have felt better in his baseball career if he had someone by his side (most of these baseball players marry their childhood/college sweethearts and have families really young), playing MLB was still his dream and now he has to find a new one. Jumping into the bachelor experience so soon to find a quick fiancee/wife probably sounded a lot better on paper to him.

I'm looking forward to the dads grilling Chris. I think it'll be a huge wakeup call for him. I think Chris thinks he's ready for a family but he is really trying to fill a void in his life. Perhaps he recognized this and that is why he is potentially single right now. JMO.

It is hard for me because I truly see also lust for mikaela. The way he hugs her, the monkey kisses.

I think he was physically attracted to both. From the start I said he is a very sexual guy. I mean we saw him very open with Britanny who was very sexually aggressive until it became OTT.

We saw and hear the awkward chris trying to be affectionate with jessie. So for me both lindsey and mikaela are positively responsive regarding the physical. that was IMO never a problem.

however, emotionally, this is when I saw him struggling with Lindsey and evolving with Mikaela. At first, it was probably not very noticeable but at ep6, after his 1-1 with Mikalea, this is when I felt him giving Lindsey only the physical.
