Here we go. Buckle up chickies.

Chris is worried that mom will be worried about the age. Tells them L is from Vancouver and he is nervous that mom will put her 2 cents worth.

Mom wants him to be with someone...closer to his own age.

Here comes L. She hopes they can see how much she adores their son...meanwhile parents are alone and harping on her age already.

They welcome her. Mom worries and she thinks L is vibrant and spirited, but still worried. L thinks they may get over it if they get to know her.

Mom pulls her aside and starts the grilling. How does she see the relationship moving forward? She wants someone to be there for her. Mom is not nearly as warm with L. Worried they may not be moving at the same pace as they get older.

Meanwhile dad is harping that Chris may not be able to keep up with L as he gets older. 

Chris says yes there are obstacles, but he thinks that what they could have would be worth it.

Now they are harping on the distance...never mind that he has lived far away for the last 15 years. Dad says he has had two girls in his life and both have been long distance. He is too old to play this game. 

Lots of editing on this. Chris looks overwhelmed at times talking to them, but then you see he is kind of grinning sheepishly. Yeah, like I said, they are throwing everything at them on this date.

Obstacles, obstacles, obstacles. Little Chris doesn't care!

Awe , everyone throwing everything at them BUT you can't deny feelings from the heart.

Talking with dad. You have two good choices...even if it requires you to make adjustments.
You have our blessing either way.

L is still out with mom telling her how she didn't expect to fall in love. Mom will be happy as long as he finds someone who will be there for him.

She goes walking away all smiles. Things didn't go too badly.

Now mom and Chris. She doesn't have a favourite. They both have different qualities. Too bad you can't find someone with both. Mom wants him to express his emotions and find happiness.

ITM talking about how his mom has seen him closed off his whole life and he doesn't want to be like that anymore. Here come a few tears.

All is good. After all this, I can't see him picking anyone but L. I just can't. Game over if it hasn't been for ages.

I have once again stayed at work an extra 1/2 hour to finish this recap. I will leave and watch the after at home from the beginning and will recap it for you all.

You're a champ for staying late Sprite!

He's having the same convo with Mom that he did with Mik. He needs to talk about his feelings. Something was missing with Mik. I can see a light bulb moment coming.

He doesn't want to be that way anymore.

Mom telling him not to be afraid to fall in love.

So again L had an extra long segment with his parents, just like with her family.

Still with mom talking about learning to talk about his feeling. Try and each time it will be better. Hard to see him struggling. Sharing with him to talk things out and share. Mom tells him it is part of a relationship to be vulnerable. 

Chris is having a bit of a melt down. Mom is comforting him. Tells him she loves him and not to be afraid to fall in love because it is the best thing. He says she is right. He has been afraid for a long time. She tells him he has to let go otherwise he will find himself alone. You have to two beautiful women and you need to make the decision to jump in or to be afraid.

He came to fall in love and found two amazing people and he hopes he can pick one. He wants to take the chance on love.

Next week...WTA...and the claws come out. 

Catie still harping on her shock at getting eliminated.

Annoying Becca and Roz on the same couch? No thanks.

@Sprite, thanks so much for your recaps! They really helped fill in holes till I can watch later on. The unbiased way you did it, really impressive!

To whoever the F1 is (if they're still together), good luck. Chris is just too flaky and not at all ready to love someone IMO.
