the way they did the teaser montage is this

Mikaela get private private boat fantasy date in Cancun Mexico
they kiss, have a good time, laugh, jump...

in the middle of it mik said that he is deeper than she thought..... CUTING ROOM.... and Chris making a face....... in fact Mike is still talking when he is making a face so it is not related

Then during diner mikaela is making a face, chris is making a face........... but we see them dancing and another shot he is doing his thing with her which is taking in his arms and turn (band next to them, shoes next to the table)
so they want us to believe something bad happen during dinner when obviously it ended well with music

So for me, they had fun but they also had serious conversation both on the boat and at dinner

Then we see kissing and cuddling with Lindsey until dinner where chris tells Lindsey about her sisters nono fantasy date..... both look very upset.

SO......

I see no hometown resolution with Lindsey but at dinner, not sure if Lindsey will bypass her sisters veto.
I see obstacle during pirate and dinner with Mikaela, resolved at the end


my take is that when chris says something is missing.... it is about his own issues about commitment. From the start I said that he would tell mikaela something upsetting her (conservative dress.... still thinking after meet the parents) and i think he will share his doubts..... then we have the VO I deserve someone who is sure of me...., then after his talk with his mom we will have the I hope it is not too late.... happy engagement ending

I think Lindsey will leave before finale. The dinner conversation looked very heavy. We see both not looking at each other, looking down, looking away... not good for a resolution IMO

mikaela, as I sleuthed get the pirates and the orange fluo bikini spotted on her IG in Cancun Mexico..... I spent a full WE on this so happy this was not for nothing!

Well this time they only showed late afternoon early evening convos from both of them and no nighttime activities. Could that be because the producers are keeping up the hype that Chris didn't hand out the FS card to Lyndsey? From their clothes though, I am assuming it is dinner for sure. IMO

IMO, Lyndsey and Chris probably resolved the family thing earlier in the day. I can't see them being that "cozy" with each other unless the HTD thing was resolved....UNLESS that is that the HTD wasn't as big of a deal as the viewers were led to believe, which is my guess. As far as the FS, IMO, that is nothing major and they will get beyond that as well. One thing I keep remembering througout the process and watching this season, is the only one Chris had an obstacle to overcome from night one is Lyndsey. First it was the age card that is still slightly prevelant. Then there is the family time. A lead and prospective F1 has ALWAYS in the Bachcan seasons had an obstacle to overcome that started night 1. This time, I only see that with Lyndsey and NOT Mikaela. IMO for the whole post

IMO it is impossible that chris does not talk about the way her family acted with him to Lindsey. I am sure it is a sour point for him and he probably wants closure or explanation. I would be in his shoes, I would like to understand why such negativity and would like to know the reasons behind that.

The glimpses we see on the teaser is multiple non eye contact. no kisses. serious conversation. However, they are both a bench, not at the dinner table as we usually see. So was it a set up? Did the crew knew in advance there would be a long talk?

Of course they tease us about it and maybe Lindsey will tell Chris that she does not care what her sister think and will forego and spend the night with him.... but I hardly believe this will happen. Not with this recent statement even if this was of course IMO the backlash of the hometown episode. But she made 2 extra special blog about her sisters and mom and she seems extremely close to them so I do not believe she will override their wish.

Chris is a very physical guy. the teaser is all about physical with Lindsey except the last part. (was it not talk on this board that when there is no emotional connection, they kiss a lot??) @Lynnta is totally right about the light. it was daylight when Lindsey and Chris talk and they went talking on a bench. We know it is the second part of the fantasy since we see glass of champagne.

I see a close up Lindsey during this segment. at one point I saw some kind of hope in Chris, and next second when Lindsey does not react, he closed up too. Lindsey did not move her position. why hope? well a guy is a guy... no doubt he is attracted to lindsey at all. maybe the last time he could cheat without backlash... we know this happens. it is not the right thing to do, but some do it. could be platonic , sure.... benefice of he doubt here, i was not there.

However, with Mik and Chris, they started the second part of the fantasy with a blue sky and ended it with dark grey clouds, and I see glimpses of darkness on the right like evening is coming up. We can see the change of light and the sun is not that high when they are dancing IMO

I also have a question that is nagging me: why would chris say "maybe I am not capable to fall in love", have this emotional breakdown with his mom IF he was already in love with Lindsey................... It should be easy IF she was already the one at hometown. You don't fall in love and fall out in love in a matter of days....

so for me it is I LOVE HER versus I AM IN LOVE WITH.

And for me his confusion with Mikaela is because he loves Lindsey and he has strong feeling for her and that should not logically happen when someone falls in love with somebody. This plus his insecurities that if he admit he is in love, to be rejected later is the issue IMO with Mikaela. The issue is HIM, not her at this point. If he can open up.... and this reminds me the open up episode 6 or 7.... Mikaela inspired me to open up, when I came to the CP I looked at you and I asked myself why I could not be as open, I had a soul searching (walk on beach after 1-1 mikaela), if I am not opening up it does not mean there is a mikaela/chris love story, i am very serious about us... Everything about Mikaela is about opening up... and this is for me the obstacle I see. No other... she is 27, ready to be engaged, ready to settle down, Toronto, warm family, dads approvals, chemistry, best friends (i shared on this board the soulmate definition already). For me the "I cannot deny I want her in my life" means that he is ready to take the risk to propose regardless of a possible future rejection. Mikaela IG is full of roses bach allusions...... love a first sign rose, rosecrown, rose background, rose emoticons, rose jeans custom made jacket with mik on it, yesterday herself with roses on a wall (Lana del bae... io Lana del rey). Tons. Even her IG profile mention The Bachelor can S03... on her IG profil she even has a direct link on her Nov 14 special bachelor view fashion party... she made an allusion on her live insta that she is moving out her apart in january.

If he decided to pick Lindsey, then nothing will be truly resolved with her family who kinda rejected (no sugar coat here, it is obvious even with edits)  age will remain 10 years (I laughed when he said 9 years 1/2... felt like a kid when they say: I am 4 years 1/2 because the 1/2 is very important... here the 10 digits was totally avoided ).... and also long distance.... and also the lifestyle.... the girl is singing in bars with her "friend", she is a publicist (where?) but she is very much a free spirit IMO.... so where does kids and marriage fit in all that?  this relationship is wayyyyyyyyyyy too complicated IMO.... it is not ONE obstacle it is 4 major ones: age, family, distance and lifestyle. Lindsey makes no mention about the bach, no emoticons, her profile does not show The bachelor can S03. She cropped the picture with her grandpa. she wrote many blogs since june 2017 about being happy to be single. I do see this closeness with her friend that for me means couple (I am thinking they came back together, posted in 2016, broke up went to the bachelor, went back and is back with her again... MY TAKE on the IG pictures and captions I see). lindsey made an allusion that she is movin in australia in january.

so who looks like more F1 here....

So for me it was always about Mikaela but as usual the F2 was very close behind.

and for me this takes all the meaning about trusting her, to "open up" and take a chance to fly together.

I don't see Mikaela as being ready to settle down any more or less than Lyndsey. On one of her social media platforms she described herself as a "wanderer" and she is moving constantly between 3 cities. I think she wants to boost her online business/presence and going on the Bachelor is pretty good at that.

I agree. I am also wondering if she has "Bachelorette" aspirations happening with all the promoting of roses she's been doing. For all we know, she is F2 and has been told that she may be the next bachelorette so of course with that opportunity in the wind, why wouldn't she promote it. Maybe Mikaela is looking to other opportunities that other Bach Nation alums have been able to take part in.

Now we also have the sisters thoughts on what happened on HTD for Lyndsey and I tend to believe it. We all saw how chopped their family time was. I was shaking my head all through it and it wasn't because of the family not liking Chris(or at least the edited version), but when we get the full picture with regards to exactly what they did together from taking a trip around the lake on the family boat, dad and Chris talking about baseball and hockey, playing with the dog, a barbeque. Come on, I live near Lake Cowichan and KNOW that any kind of boat ride on that lake is a long time spent. The sisters said that he was with the family for 10 hrs. Who in the world would spend 10 hrs with a family that despises you?? IMO, the family time went far better than the edited version us as viewers get to see.

With Chris and Lyndsey talking, there is a table in front of them. They are in evening dinner clothes so definately not a general chat and not early in the day. IMO, in Mikaela's the clouds are making things deceptive as well. I don't see EITHER as evening time, and I think that is because the editors want viewers to think that Chris doesn't take Lyndsey to the FS and that there are problems waiting for them. Where as, IMO, he definately will and she will gladly accept. I also don't think that they will be as close earlier in the day if there was that much of a problem with the HTD. I think that we can all say that previews are meant to deceive. They are teasers for a reason....
