Forgot to say yesterday there is an ESPN radio studio in Atlanta. So he doesn't really have to have his equipment. He has recorded like 3 shows in LA so I don't think it necessarily matters that he is not at home. It would be strange he would have a radio show though because he is calling a game that next day and it is NYE. I guess we will wait and see and I feel like jojo will still go

Yeah, I remember when he did it a few times in LA he wasn't really out there for work trips. A couple of the times he did it he was out there for JoJo just hanging out, so he wasn't traveling like crazy for work and he had the time to do it.

I would hope that ESPN knows he's traveling this week, calling a game Saturday and then again on Monday, so it would be overkill for him and the games are more important, but who knows. They've gotten replacements for Jordan and Jason when they have both been out of town before.

Oh I understand what you meant now. But the last time he was in LA to record the show. He literally flew cross country from the East Coast on Sunday morning after calling a game Saturday night. Then recorded in LA at 4pm PST. The next day, he had that thing with Chris Harrison for the CFB playoffs (Monday). On Tuesday, he flew to Charlotte to record SEC Now. He was definitely busy then. Also the one time Jason and Jordan had off was probably a scheduled break. Who knows with this people. I do hope he doesn't have to do it. It must be exhausting especially since he will be calling the game the next day for ESPN radio. It is also NYE..he deserves the time off

I would think ESPN would know about everything he is doing this week... they are the ones that are scheduling him for all these games! And, it is their radio show he is contracted to do so if they want him on air NYE, he will be on air. With having studios in Atlanta, it really isn't that big a deal. FWIW, their radio show is listed on the ESPN radio schedule for this week from 7 to 11 p.m. They can still ring in the new year together Smiley

This is the career he wants and it involves a lot of hours of work which can and does include the holidays. IMO, the more ESPN has him doing means they really like the work he is doing because some of these guys that call these bowl games have been doing it longer than Jordan but they haven't been scheduled for as many games as him.
