I like Becca's look....gorgeous eyes, very natural, not too much makeup. I think she is quite pretty.

On a side note, I find that by the end of the night of episode 1 some of the girls look horrid. It's a LONG night. Come episode 2 I usually find myself surprised by how different some of the girls look.

They did.  Not best friends, and I think Arie is closer with John Wolfner from Emily’s season, but they definitely stayed in touch through the years.

That’s a nickname Arie had after Emily’s season aired.   Sort of  dumb IMO.  

Good point @philphan. Becca is very striking in pics I’ve seen but the M&G did her no favors.  What a long, grueling night.  Arie handled everything well and seemed very genuine IMO.

So here are two clips featuring Becca's time with Arie.
In the first clip, she asked him to repeat "Rebecca Jill, are you ready to do the damn thing?"
But in the second clip, she mentioned that she didn't say her name. So I wonder if they filmed her entrance again.

It's possible. The do a lot of re-takes during filming.

@star_D i noticed that as well i just thought it was nerves and she forgot that she actually told him to say her whole name "Rebecca Jill"....looking forward to seeing how he proposes now

During the first episode I think Arie came across much more likable and sincere than Nick did last season. Maybe it's just the differences in their personalities JMO

I was also surprised how likeable he seem...He came across pretty genuine and sincere

I thought that during Nick's first night as the lead he came across much more natural and friendly. I felt that Arie was a bit wooden and kind of awkward... I do think that the nerves really got to him and hope that he will relax into the role a bit more.

I don't remember him doing that weird, nervous laugh as much before. It was getting on my nerves...
