Lauren Burnham - **Sleuthing Spoilers**

I want to see how Lauren deals with sm negativity when the time comes. I think that will reveal her true characters. IMO.

Whether she's interested in him or just wanting whatever TPTB promised would come her way if she went along with this as part of a story board, so far the only thing blame her for being dumb enough (IMO) to take part in this mess of a switch up with him.  Because personally nothing they could promise would be worth being made into the bad guy, blamed, trashed and dragged threw the mud IMO.  Especially since most of us know TPTB don't follow through with their promises.  

Yes, I realize contracts are involved and   but...

For her sake, I hope whatever she and Arie have is real and not a showmance.  I hope they work and she gets some perks, opportunities, etc. out of TPTB for all of the drama.  But the press release description of their date, doesn't give me high hopes that she, he or they are going to be fan favs or going to be spared from further being turned into road kill.  It makes make think the bus is just rev'ing up its engine to get started.

I think they will be fine. SM might be mad for a few seconds and then they will move on to something else. Just the nature of SM. Lauren and Arie need to do what's best for them and there families and tell everyone else to pound sand myself included. JMHO

When production is involved - as certainly seems to be the case here - IMO they will craft a storyline for their own benefit - and there's plenty of things I've heard where they've done just that. IMO we will see / hear what they want us to see / hear - which may or may not be the real story. IMO it's likely they told Arie that if he was interested in Lauren he had to do something NOW - before they picked her to be the next Bachelorette lead - which is exactly what they told Jason about Molly. It doesn't really matter if that was true or not - I think that's what they might well have told Arie so to him - it was true - even if it really wasn't.

While I'm reading comments of compassion for Becca's hurt feelings, despite not having any feelings for Lauren, I'd like to spend 2 words for the other side of the coin ... while Becca may have been hurt in the process of Arie's poor choice of ending the show "with the wife material girl" (that was supposedly Becca for him, until she wasn't) ... it was Lauren B. who first got hurt ... not been chosen ... and now being with Arie (whatever arrangement they are in) she is in the position to be hurt again (by the same guy, if he ever changes his mind) ... so the risk is greater for her ... so for the sake of female compassion I'd say that she is stronger than what may transpire. Then again I've never thought of her as shy.

You know, I had a client once that cheated on her husband with another guy. There was a divorce and she married TOG. Well, a few years down the road, she cheated on the 2nd husband and he was just so shocked that she would do that. Really? She cheated WITH you so you knew she was capable...why be shocked? I hope that Lauren is more astute than that and has her eyes open.
