[/quote]MATTHEW ‘Matty J’ Johnson’s lips received a lot of attention in the latest series of The Bachelor Australia and now we all have the opportunity to steal a kiss from the reality TV star.

Johnson has signed up for Madame Tussauds Sydney’s first augmented reality (AR) experience that allows fans to interact with him and even go in for a cheeky peck — the only problem is he forgot to tell partner Laura Byrne.

“Laura was like: ‘What do you mean there will be articles out there saying you are going to be kissing people?’,” Johnson says.

“So I had to explain it would be a virtual version of me doing the kissing.

“We filmed it a couple of weeks ago and it was strange because I had to pretend I was kissing someone but actually no-one was there.

“I was in a studio pretending to do love hearts and peace signs and my acting ability had to come in to play a little bit — I had to imagine Laura was there sitting next to me.”

The AR technology, that superimposes a computer-generated image on a user’s view of the real world, will seat fans on a couch next to Johnson.

“They will see themselves sitting with me, we could be making a little love heart together, or a peace sign or there is the option of a kiss if they are so inclined,” he says.[/quote]
