So who are we all thinking will get the SD tonight?
As I mentioned before, in all the past Bachelorette AU, whoever got SD#2 ended up being F1. In hindsight, SD#2 was always the date for the person who was the frontrunner early on. So who do we think is the frontrunner in Sophie's eyes so far?
I am going to say SD#2 will go to either Apollo or maybe even Sam will get his 1st double delight date. Dark horse for SD # 2: James if his impression from the Friar tuck group date made that much of an impression on Sophie that she bumped him up to SD #2.

Here we go. Guys chatting at the mansion. Sam thinking he should have a date and Jarrod is jealous. Blake thinks it may be him as  does Luke.

Date card...goes to Luke. Sam is wondering why it is taking so long for his date and is frustrated.

Sophie says she picked Luke because he is hot and stood out on the red carpet because he looks like George Clooney and wasn't arrogant, but rather shy unlike most really good looking guys.

She thinks he looks sexy. They are at the beach busting sand castles which have questions in them to get to know one another.

What age did you lose your virginity? 17 with an older woman.

What's your most disgusting habit...he bites his nail. She swears.

What do you wear to bed...she trackers or undies.

She wants him to teach her to surf. She is looking for  hands on tuition.

Group date Ryan, Jefferson, Sam, Brett, Eden, Jarrod, Mac and the guy who read the card.

Sophie comes out in a sumo suit for the surfing...surfing Sophie style....like surfing in a giant condum. Her potty mouth comes to the fore, but they were having fun and he carries her out of the ocean. 

They are talking about where she lives ... on a river with one and a half acres. She goes on the red carpet at events and then goes home and skips the party. He thought she would be more in the party scene based on what he sees in the media. They are having a nice little chat. Fun and nice date.

Guys at the mansion talking about Luke's date...if he will get a kiss. Jarrod telling them about his date....he is getting attached. Had butterflies after their first date.

Sophie doesn't like talking about her feelings and asks him why he is still single. He says was in a really long relationship from when he was very young. She dated someone for 7 years and they drifted apart. When in Hollywood she attracted the wrong guys...actors, rock stars...and it wasn't her. That is why she did the show...to find someone normal.

He asks her if she sees feels anything and she admits she does and did from the beginning. She gives him the rose and they are so awkward. She gives him a peck and then there is the most awkward pause because they are both so nervous. In ITM she is talking about how bad she is a flirting and wanting him to kiss her already and then...eventually...he does...and goes back for seconds. Nice.

She is apologizing to her father. Says she promised herself to not kiss every guy she goes on a date with, but oopsies.

Definite chemistry here with Luke. He is shy, but calmer than Jarrod.

Oh wow so it was Luke that got the 2nd SD!!
Just about to start watching now

GD with the Sophie's parents driving the guys.

Guys talking about what Sophie wants. Guys in moms car are being polite. Dads group is more mouthy and cutting up Jarrod a bit.

They arrive at the date and Jarrod wants to show himself up as the grown up. Sam is mouthing off and hopes Jarrod fails miserably.

They are there to do scribble art to show how well they can express themselves. Her sister is under cover as an art analyst who will ask probing question and report back to Sophie.

Treat the art honestly like a relationship. Sophie is killing herself, she can't look at her sister.

They have to sign their work so Ellen can interpret.

Sam....thinks he was going for romance, but it turns out dark. Maybe because he still hasn't gotten his date. Lost some confidence.

Next guy is colour blind...and didn't really see from most of the guys chat....other then Ryan. Most of his relationships have not ended well....including his mom who passed away. He is talking in a much more sensitive way. Her sister thinks Sophie may her misinterpreted him and hopes she gives him a chance.

Next Jarrod...sis says he is genuine and definitely wants to have a family.

I think sis is going to push for Ryan for the quality 1:1 time after the date.

Wow definite sparks between Sophie and Luke! She's definitely way more into Luke than she was with Jarrod.

Next Osher tells the guys that Ellen is really Lucy, Sophie's sister. They are surprised and then he tells them that Andrew and Sandy are her parents. Sam is shi*tting bricks.

Out come the parents and Lucy. Mom is happy her guys were positive, dad heard more, but even they weren't too bad. Jarrod is a bit of an brown noser. (That is my opinion, not theirs.)

They all decided that Ryan gets the extra time.

They go for a chat. She wants to see the soft side of Ryan. She thought he was a bit angry and didn't like her, but maybe he is afraid of being hurt. He thinks he has bottled up his emotions and put on a brave face.

She wants someone who will love her and not try to change her. He on the other hand, wants someone who takes care of herself and who doesn't have a potty mouth. Not exactly a match made in heaven since she swears non stop and says she doesn't really get all dolled up other than when she is working. He is much more about appearances and she clearly isn't.

She thinks there is more to Ryan than she thought, but is he the right guy for her? I think she knows he isn't. Not much chemistry there IMO.

Cocktail party and guys from GD are telling others about how they were played by Sophie. 

Jarrod wants more time. Sam is trash talking Jarrod.

Luke had time with Sophie, but we weren't shown what they talked about.....but we did get to see it.

Jarrod trash talking Sam and his long hair. 

Sam is telling Sophie how he is looking forward to getting to know her and Sophie tells him off about how he talked about her boobs. He says he is using humour as a defense mechanism. She says that is not how she wants him. He is back tracking a bit.

Now Jarrod and Sam have a chat about what their mutual problem with each other is. They have both heard stuff. Jarrod explains how he is when he falls for someone. No resolution here so I don't see what the point was of showing this. They are both annoying.
