Yeah it's been a different season for sure. There's a lack of investment in Laura and Matty's story from what I've seen on SM. For a very obvious potential F1 that says it all to me really.

To be honest I keep thinking about JoJo's season which also had a very obvious F1 IMO. And it turned some people off but it was a compelling love story as well. I think this season is just lacking a compelling love story - the leveraging of drama is a result of this IMO.

If Laura wins I will be perplexed as to why they wouldn't show something better - her second 2nd wasn't at all sparkly or romantic (at least what was shown) and had all of these third wheels. If Elise wins, i'll be shocked but at least it would explain the strange edit of the season if a dark horse actually wins. If Tara wins, i'll fall out of my seat

IA @stoneleigh, great post...I'm not sure if this 'L' word clip from Ten Play has been discussed but Laura doesn't feature in it all, IMO it is perhaps leaving it wide open for her to drop the love bomb in the finale.

@Rikkim....Laura is the only one that has dropped the L word...to be precise that "she loves Matty" to print mags of the F3....just off to top of my head she dropped it in interviews to Daily Telegraph, NW Mag and TV Week so IMO it's not a surprise to the audience at least based on the media reports...jmho.

So there has been lots of talk about Elise's necklace. Its such a generic necklace that so many jewellery stores sell it.. so it makes it harder to track down! IMO the ones from the official "Diamond" sponsor aren't a close match. But here is one from Angus and Coote (an australian jewellery shop you would find in a lot of shopping centres) that looks pretty close IMO. They sell it with every blue stone under the sun. Here it is in two different blues. A lot of this type of necklace now seems sold out on their website (most likely because its on sale)

As a side note, Elise seems to be always wearing the pendant with the other necklace too. Its harder to make out the shape

Yeah, I think there is something to be said about this show now being produced by Warner Bros USA. It's why I feel that this season, out of all the Bachelor Australia seasons, has me the least invested. 

I mean, even last season I was more invested despite not caring for Richie as a lead. This season there's been some highlight moments here and there but overall to me this season is just feeling flat - scripted and overly produced. 

So based on how invested I am in the outcome of this season, I'd rank this one the least invested out of all prior Bach AU seasons.

True, IMO I still find it odd she's not featured in the clip at all. But then again everything is a bit odd this season IMO.

@SugarandSpice, Elise wore the other necklace that you posted above that you can't make out during filming......you can see it on the skydiving GD pic that she posted. The blue topaz one is the only one that IMO she started wearing post filming.

So I have been following all of your threads, but haven't posted yet. I have seen a few little clues that point to Elise belong the F1. Firstly, I'm sure after Matty's reaction on the red carpet that Elise stood out to him (and therefore he would have spoken to her sooner and chosen her for a SD sooner). I believe that they have not shown Elise's arrival for a reason and they told him to hold off on the SD (he was apologetic about not asking her sooner). IMO The producers wanted the dark horse storyline and Laura was a complete distraction to begin with (only being there to promote her jewellery...ie Matty saying that the F2 will do all right out of this). Despite all of the news articles, they have never actually been spotted together. Laura and Matty flirt a lot, but I think it's easier to flirt with someone you're not really interested in. Sometimes it is more awkward with the person you really like.
I spotted the exact same thing that flamingal spotted about Elise's blue gem necklace. It's like she has noticed that the pap's were there and she's tucked it into her shirt afterwards
Plus, James Blunt's account of Matty and Elise's date where they apparently had their tongues down each other's throat the whole time.
I also get a funny vibe about Matty and Tara. Despite her jumping on him when she sees him, she seems to not be that into him. Hugs where her arms are firmly by her side and turning her head away when he kisses her hand on the ride at Movie World. Anyway, that's my 2 cents worth! I liked Elise the best after I read her bio, so I could be a little biased.

@sugarandspice IA it's a fairly common shape/style of pendant, but as @mercieme said we can't see her wearing it in any pics pre-show that have been shown so far, AND it seems very in the style of Larsen's jewelery, both of which has created some interest.
