I get TM things but Im in Marketing for a living. But I find the critisim on headshot/professional photos perplexing since ever guy from the show has them. I suspect its something they may need for the audition process but I don't know for sure.

I get the comparison to Shawn (I made the same one), but I think Shawn just had a massive crush on her, but still didn't have a perfect plan in place. He even said that he had told his friends and family that if it was him in the end, he wouldn't propose because that's just crazy and he wouldn't know her well enough. And he had many moments when he wanted to leave and where he got upset with her and was disappointed with her. He did get to know the real Kaitlyn - flaws and all - and organically still fell for her. There was a journey there. With Bryan, it never felt like there was.

Why is the headshot photos criticism perplexing? I can't remember the last time a contestant has done that...maybe Jake Pavelka? There have been leads/contestants who were paid to model stuff, but to use your own money and get professional headshots? That's clearly preparation for something.

And, I don't have an issue with the TM, in theory. If Bryan really did have a winner on his hands, I'd tell him to go for it. The fact that he trademarked it before he even went on the show, before he had any idea of how far he would go or if Dr. abs would ever even get mentioned? That means, IMO, that he was planning on starting some kind of business based on Dr. abs when he got back from filming and thought it would be huge enough that he paid to get it TM-ed. To me, that level of calculation and delusion is startling. But, we shall see! I'm always happy to be proven wrong and have a Bachelorette couple make it! IMO.

Headshots/Professional studio shots?  No. Lots of the guys from the show have them this season - hell even Jack Stone got some and he's about as interesting as watching paint dry. Hence my point that its not just Bryan so Im not sure why he's being singled out.

I mean regular headshots that you bring to auditions, not professional modeling pics. If Jack has those, I'm judging him too! It's b/c he's a non-factor this season. The only guys who are paid any attention are B, P, and D. If Jack was engaged to Rachel, we'd surely be talking about it. I also think that one thing by itself can be innocent, which is why I shrugged off some things I thought were suspicious. When you have half a dozen things? It begins to tell a story, IMO.

Maybe Bryan thought he could use his popularity from the show to build his brand and his career. We see that all the time and I don't see the big deal, honestly. And on another note, Bryan generally seems like he's not someone who wears his emotions on his sleeve. He's an Aquarius (like me ) and I'm often told that people can't figure out how things affect me because I don't show it. That's my nature and IMO he seems that way too. Bryan's also a grown man who doesn't let small things get to him so that could be why we didn't see so many sides to him during the season. And maybe, he hit it off with Rachel so fast that we didn't get to see him fall for her organically. JMO. Not everyone's personalities communicate well through television, and Rachel did say that a lot of their story didn't make the cut.

There are two instances I remember Bryan showing how he was feeling. Both were very subtle though. One was when TOG got a group date rose. The other was the final 3 rose ceremony. His reaction was actually kinda funny for that one. It's like he couldn't believe what he heard he was shook.

Bryan was called "calculated" upthread because of his pursuit of Rachel (which he himself and friends openly discussed). He said on the show to Rachel and post show that he thought they could be a match watching her season but was shocked by their connection and chemistry together.

As for the headshots and LatinWe (openly posted to his lG) and TM (public and registered under his name). If he's a natural planner and wants to be prepared for any and all outcomes, I can see why he did those things.

The point is he hasn't done anything with them at this point. The low hanging fruit is the "public figure" or verified on IG. Even guys that didn't even make it past episode 5 have it and are verified. He's got a healthy nearly 400k followers - so where's the shilling at least?!

As many have pointed out he's not back at his 9-5 so he could easily make having those things a priority but he's not. If it was SO important to him surely he would have cleared that bar by now. The majority of his time has been dedicated to Rachel and HER ambitions.

I guess I'm not sure what sneaky underhanded game he's been playing by having everything open and available for easy access.

I think of someone being calculated when are trying to hide those things or their motives with misdirection and falsehoods. JMO

I did not watch the entire season but after all the drama, I decided to watch anything B/R on you tube and R/P. I wanted to see what I missed out of curiosity. Bryan is a mystery to me. I can't figure out what lies beneath the surface with him. It's like he showed up and knew what it would take out of the limo. He's drama free, he buys expensive gifts and he seems to always have a feel for what it takes to keep the romance moving in the direction Rachel wants.  He's much more polished than your typical contestant but I can link that to his practice/patients. What I can't find is his emotional side. He just doesn't seem to be motivated by emotion...if he is, I obviously missed that part of their journey on youtube. I don't want to see him iron her clothes, hold her computer or call her baby...I am more interested in him bearing not all but just a tiny bit of who he is when you peel back the layers. When he hadn't even made it to their limo after leaving ATFR and I got a glimpse of his mugs....no, he wasn't off to a good start in my opinion.

I don't care where they live, BTW. I do hope that Rachel doesn't have to pave the way for him whatever they tackle in the future. That will get old eventually, IMO.

YES!! this is why i have a hard time understanding bryan. he has no individuality to him other than he's colombian and he's a chiropractor and he apparently "wanted" rachel day 1. jmo

The cast went on a reality tv show. They don't owe us any more of their lives than that. IMO They don't owe us any insight to their lives on who they are or what they do. IMO When they go on Social Media and put themselves out there good, bad and ugly that's when they open the door. IMO Everyone is due the right to privacy. Just as I or anyone else. Whatever tidbits these people choose to throw the public's way is their business and the public can do is sit back and

I always thought it was funny how even his friends referred to him as calculated or as someone who was almost too focused. It never really sounded like a compliment to me and only added to public perception that he was all about winning.

I don't care if she's petty and entitled, he's calculating and fame hungry, as long as they treat each other well ( seem to be) and are happy with each other (seem to be), I will continue to follow their sm and be entertained.
I don't know them irl and I don't need to, I am just here to enjoy their cute pictures/stories, and posting, reading other opinions.
