@natik @chenny IA with you both....like if she is not F1 why would it hurt and devalue her experience if another person is indeed the F1 already, as in IMO deal with it and move on. And for the record IMO she added other girls feeling the same but none of the other girls so far (and I read all the Exit interviews, need my life back after this season) have stated or brought that point up....they could be talking about it BTS but it never came up in any interview to the best of my knowledge.

Stacy said she was “ sceptical of the process and him” at the beginning and “cried and thought ‘this isn’t for me’”.

“On our first date I said ‘I’m well aware that your heart could already be taken by someone and I’m uneasy about the fact that this could be a waste of time’. He said right back to me to appease my feelings, ‘all it can take is one date and I know that better than anyone’, so that made me buy into sticking around.”

Stacy says it is “bitter sweet” that people have compared their experiences on the show.

“I don't like it that much because I don't like seeing what he went through and I would hate to be that person.

“I’m like, ‘he’s the one who fell in love and got his heart broken, that’s not ideal for me,’” she said, “so while it’s good to come out of nowhere, I knew that he didn't have Georgia’s heart in the end and that could very much be the position that I find myself in.”

With Stacy well and truly still in the running for Matty J’s heart, she describes recent speculation that jewellery designer Laura Byrne is the winner as upsetting.

“It’s really hard and I think it’s horrible,” she said. “For media to report that stuff so aggressively, it really devalues my experience through this and my journey and some other girls have felt that this year.”

 Wow! Just wow. If Elise is F2 she is going to be devastated and it will be a brutal finale imo. 

Oh man. Even her words about how Matty reassured her and her questioning if he is genuine :shocked!:

I've never watched a season before where the lead was questioned on the show and off about being genuine as much as I have this season, specifically by someone who is in F3. The closest was Blake (but his whole stuff only came out after the finale)

If not F1, to me Elise sounds like a woman who was played. Who was deliberately led on for a storyline despite her dad telling Matty to please not do that and who expressed her concerns to Matty to basically not be the slow-burn Matty 2.0.

If not F1, I really really really hope Elise is F3.

Because Elise being F2.... I have no words

That are the most telling quotes from her interview. With the first quote she is letting us know that she mentioned in an conversation with Matty that she don't want to waste time if he is not feeling it. So she basically said to him to let her go and don't take her to the finals. So based on that I can't see Matty doing that if he wasn't sure that Elise is his F1.

The second quote is about Matty`s situation with Georgia and the first thing she is saying that she didn't liked it to see what Matty went through. So she cares for him and she mentioned him first and then only she talked about herself. She is in love with him because she is the F1.

The last quote about Laura is F1 rumors. Basically she let us know that she is pissed of because her love journey with Matty was dismissed because of that. Only a F1 would feel like that. IMO

Yeah her interview can be interpreted in so many ways, but i reckon she's just covering up she's F1 by acting upset in that interview so not make it obvious she's F1. About her commenting on Laura and how the media has hyped her so much all season compared to everyone else, I can understand her disappointment whether she was F1 or not.

Great post, @natik! This is not the interview of a F2, IMO and F3 is just laughable. I think Elise is tired of being the dark horse this season. She feels bad that her love story was downplayed. Hang on Elise...it's almost over.

Yeah she is pretty much over the whole Laura is F1 story and not only her it seems like her mum is over it too. I think she is counting minutes and seconds till the finale

@allaboutlove....I have to go look back at all the interviews / reports but I am pretty certain that I read that the girls discussed in the house that Laura and Matty had met each other before. So if I place myself in the position of any of the other girls, I sure as heck will be asking why bother to be here especially IMO since it was apparent to them all that Laura was a front runner. Elise's question saying to Matty that I understand that your heart may be taken already IMO lends strong credence to this....so I kinda understand why she and maybe other girls (well on the record Lisa did as well) may have questioned Matty regarding how genuine he was about the process...jmho.

Yep! Would LOVE to see Elise be there at the end with Matty. Would just make watching this season bit more worth my time, where as Laura and her business have been too OTT in the show and also media. Elise is so genuine and has not put a foot wrong that we know of, she deserves to find love.

Yes, Simone said that Laura told them that she had met Matty. I definitely agree that Elise would, because of that and because of her late date in the season, be wanting to get a ton of reassurance (and her family too) from Matty that she is not just being played and used for a storyline.

So basically Matty told her that one date can change everything and that he wished their first date had been earlier. Basically reassuring her that even if he had known Laura before, he was invested in Elise. It's why I think that if Elise is not F1, then she will think that Matty was not genuine and that he went out of his way to lead her on because she and her family talked to him about this.

I just can't get over the word in that interview... the word "bittersweet" which doesn't seem like a good word for a F1 imo. Elise saying being compared to Matty being bittersweet... so heartbreaking...love and lost...imo. I don't see a F1, even one who's love story may not be as obvious use the word bittersweet. OTOH I guess it could be a F1 thing where it's bittersweet because she is F1 and yet OTT media not about her and Matty.

IDK. I hope that Elise isn't F2 and that as even Elise said, Matty was genuine. To me, I get this show, there is always a F2, but given Matty's backstory and being the only lead ever for the Aussie franchise who has been F2, then doing to Elise what was done to him to me would show me he is not genuine. It's cruel. Rather take Tara or Flo there as I don't think they are as invested.

This is so very true.  The BL expert should have critiqued their James Blunt date...tongues down throats, going hell for leather!  

I still chuckle every time I watch that clip and James says, "Go on then!"

Last season there was a body language specialist who wrote how much Richie is into Olena and we know how that turned out. So I would take it with a grain of salt.
