Bachelor 22 - Arie Luyendyk Jr - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I'm gonna watch season premier, and if it's looking particularly...diverse-less ......yep, no. they'd be hitting rewind in more ways than just their bachelor.

I'm actually excited for this season, but mostly because of snark. I mean...you have an older guy that most of the audience doesn't remember, rumored to like them young, and didn't he also make an appearance in Courtney's book where she described his bedroom skills? I might be remembering that wrong.

This has shitshow written all over it. And I'm sure TPTB have their bus rev'd and ready to roll.

I like Arie well enough in terms of the character I remember from my tv screen, I remember him making good tv. But I can only assume this is a vehicle to set up a better pool of candidates for future leads/BIP/whatever.

I don't know anything about Arie because I started watching this franchise when Ben H. was TB (super late, I know ) but I'm excited! It will be nice to see someone who was on this show before Instagram was a thing. He's got nice eyes and great hair, too . IMO I don't think it's for publicity... he doesn't strike me as that type of person from what I can see. If casting goes well and he has a decent group of women on his season, I think it will make for a good show!

Just show the passage of Courtney's book where she says Arie was the best sex she's ever had to the contestants who signed up for Peter and they'll stick around

I am so excited! Arie has always been one of my favorites. Looking forward to watching him.

Casting would be up to the show and not up to the lead regardless. At this point in time, things would seem to be pretty much determined I would think. Maybe not.

I'm so looking forward to this season. He's been out of the Bach scenery for a while, too, so he seems like a totally new face. Refreshing. Jmo

@Rachelsseason Well, "good" might be stretching it, IMO. But at least not gag worthy.
Basically, it's all culminated in the poop festival they called BIP this season. Hopefully, TPTB take a step back and learned something. Anything.
I, too would be very interested in the sourcing behind all the rumored stuff with this Arie and under aged dating. Just for the record. I always love to have the facts at hand.

The only thing I'm slightly worried about is diversity on the season. I do think the franchise has gotten better at that with the past couple of seasons, however I don't know if that will still be the case with this season. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Awwww, to the newbies...you will love some Arie! He's a doll ...give him a chance. He's delightful!I cannot believe I get to watch two of my favorites ...EVER...two seasons in a row.
