Bachelorette Australia - Season 3 - Sophie Monk - F1-F4 Clues - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I’ve gone back and looked at interviews where Richie, Georgia, and Matty have described what they’re looking for in a partner and their descriptions all seem to describe the F2. Richie was looking for someone beautiful inside and out and perfect (Nikki), Georgia was looking for someone funny (Matty given that edit), Matty was looking for someone kind and polite (Elise) and Sophie is looking for a down to earth Aussie bloke (to me describes James). Has anyone noticed this and found it interesting? To me Stu seems okay but I guess he isn’t your every day Aussie bloke is here?

I agree @ssin0547, definitely not a normal Aussie bloke IMO.  I thought maybe, being a celebrity, Sophie has a different concept of "normal" (rich might be normal for her?) but reading through your examples you're right, the Leads do often describe the F2s. Considering those interviews could be filmed at any time during the season, IMO they are tailored to include aspects of the F2 as a deliberate red herring.

They do also seem to describe the F1s as well though - I remember Georgia saying on night one something about "give me a man who can tell Dad jokes and that's the one for me" or something, and then Lee comes in on a donkey and makes a Dad joke. And similarly, Sophie said in episode 1 that she wanted someone "who'll be a good father, and someone who just loves me", and Stu would seem to fit that to a T.

I guess the main thing is that Sophie is happy. She seems adamant she doesn’t want to repeat the same mistakes so I hope her judgement in choosing Stu is correct. I do like Luke but there’s something about him that’s not sitting 100% with me. James of course is a sweetheart but possibly is too young for Sophie. All JMO.

Is it possible there is often a big clue in the first 5 minutes of each AU season? I can't remember all of them but Mattie said to Osher he does not believe in love at first sight but at first conversation and Laura was the first conversation, Georgia said she would fall in love with a guy who told Dad jokes and Lee and the donkey turn up ....

I can really only see a connection with Apollo and James. so far - Apollo is far too young IMO and James is such a sweetie, a gentleman, very manly and just gorgeous all round, from what we've seen so far, but IMO I can't see him fitting in with Sophie's type of life. I like Mac and Luke is a hunk but the things he says he's into don't seem to match Sophie very well, like meditating etc.
Stu is probably the best fit but I wonder why haven't they got together before?

Interesting points! I really like Luke. I think he fits in with Sophie very well imo. She seems to enjoy being outdoors by the waters. She does yoga (as shown in her intro). They have banter (imo only Luke and Blake have banter with Soph). I can go on and on but to me Luke seems like a very obvious F1. I'm just a bit hesitant with his SM activity during filming.

He has received a very good edit. On their date, they try to throw doubt during the 'undies comment or the 'do you feel something here' question, but nonetheless it played out to not be anything serious at all. Also, one reason why I think Sophie really likes Luke, is that I noticed with him she gives him space to make the moves. Like with the kiss, she clearly wanted to kiss him but got so nervous wondering if he wanted to kiss her that it became so awkward. But to me, it was very cute and real. Sophie mentioned in an interview that she would never propose to a guy because she feels that it is very emasculating. And I feel that she has emasculated all of the guys imo. Kissing Jarrod (whom looked surprised) and with James, asking for a kiss. Although, I find James very endearing as a person, he isn't the fit for Sophie. He seems to kind and almost vulnerable to be with someone like her. Again jmo.

I read in an interview somewhere, or saw Sophie talking on TV somewhere (I wish I could find it again), and they asked her when she planned to get married and have kids and she said "Maybe next year". Then they asked her if her chosen guy was on the same page and if they had talked about that and she said that they had had that conversation 'within the first 5 minutes of meeting'.

To me... the only person who she would have had that conversation with that quickly is Stu.

Does anyone else remember seeing that anywhere?

This pic makes me further think Luke is not F1. I've gone back and forth this season because there's no season preview screencaps (so all sleuthing has to be done with other info) but usually F1s do not hang out like this during airing. The biggest pre-season sleuthing doubt for Luke as F1 was what I had posted about Luke being on SM activity during filming and him traveling to NZ while filming was ongoing. I also summarized upthread how Luke didn't get much screentime first ep and no CP chat shown (a staple for all previous F1s). Add in Sportsbet and it seems they are confirming what was sleuthed pre-season regarding Luke.

I find Luke confusing....I see him as F1 by his tweets and instagram and even jimmy's instagram with the photo where Luke has his arm around Sophie as they are watching the polo. But then I see him in photos with the boys out on the town like on ryan's instagram and think F1 normally doesn't socialise with the other contestants which would point to Stu or Jarrod. JMO. What's everyone's opinion of this?

But I do see Luke as a match for Sophie, he seems to be a cool and calm person that goes with the flow which I think would be good for her. JMO.

so for top 4 but no particular order I think Luke, Stu (even tho i would think his HTD would be awkward as who would his family include, i doubt it would show his daughters) and James. The last i would be tie between Blake and AJ and Jarrod. Don't know too much about much about AJ and there are no screencaps to go by.

@allaboutlove It will be interesting to see when Stu gets around to liking that pic because I have a suspicion that this weekend is a SHV overseas...

Sophie has posted just a couple of things on instagram but not liked anything this weekend as far as I can tell (which is unusual for her)... Oscar covering for her??

Stu also hasn't posted or liked anything this weekend and hasn't been papped yet I don't think (I will admit I haven't looked hard). I haven't looked into the other potential F1s movements at all but I just thought it was weird that my Instagram feed is suddenly bereft of both Sophie's and Stu's likes.

I will be fascinated if all of a sudden she starts liking things again a little while after I post this...

Luke is going to be with the Bach guys on Nov 5 for a charity event. To me that doesn't seem like F1 at all to be hanging with the other guys the week after finale airs (Oct 26)
