WOW! If Kate is to believed (and she seems pretty reliable, IMO) Peter certainly would not be "one hell of a suprise" since that's what most people want/expect at this point - guess we can rule him out.

I'm thinking they picked someone from WAY back or completely outside of the franchise.

If it's Arie then I have a feeling this show is doing throwbacks... Nick.. then Arie. It's to the old school fans and their fans who got the shaft. As to people not watching? I don't buy it at all. They'll watch. Rachel's season ratings were abysmal but Bach seasons no matter the lead are always good. TPTB could cast anyone, even a 4xer like Nick, his season was the only reality show that had an increase in younger viewers (so those who knew nothing about him). No matter what imo majority people will watch. They've proven it year after year

Okay so he def isn't the next bachelor or the announcement was pre-taped?? I dunno ..he was mia for about 3 days so who knows. This confusion is exactly what MF wanted ...I thought his weird tweets didn't make any sense, now they do
