Bachelor 22 - Speculation - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - Discussion #2

I think Mills did an interview/podcast where he said that Bachelor would run as normal and Winter Games would be on a different night? Either way I don't see them bumping the main show for the Winter Games. That's small potatoes compared to the real thing and (IMO) will get the worst ratings of the 4 franchise shows.

I'm also thinking maybe it's not the bachelor annoucement.

MF kept referring to announcement regarding #thebachelor. GMA's tweet says special announcment. Like I posted upthread, maybe it's CH that's leaving.

Perhaps the "lukepelled" clause is going to be invoked in favor of a less demanding option. MF generally has subtext and double meaning in his tweets IMO.

Peter is going to be a total mess if he is the Bachelor...the avalanche of negativity that comes at a Lead is going to be overwhelming for him. The guy has zero self awareness if he takes the gig. IMO

I listened to both Millsy podcasts from this week and on the Wed podcast he left the podcast to field 2 (call #2 &#3) very important phone calls regarding the Bachelor franchise. He eluded that one early additional (call #1) very short call had something to do with CH and laughed and said it was not important.

If he is TB perhaps we'll have a thread dedicated to this types of SM behaviour. It's beyond ridiculous IMHO, where's the soother. :babies:

This was his second tweet responding to a critical/mean tweet from this person. I'm not sure what is wrong from his responses? Would it be better if he just didn't respond? Probably but if people post hateful tweets why shouldn't he call them as he sees them? Haven't most leads responded to negative SM at one time or another?

I imagine all leads have to toughen up once they get the gig. We don't even know that he has it yet.

Hahaha gosh of he is TB he is gonna go cray cray. If he can't handle the criticism, he really is in for a rude awakening. His "blocked users" list is gonna be long af but i think that he is just gonna like those "hateful " comments and let his fans take care of that person. I mean that's what he does...always looking for validation from people

I listened to them as well.  He said he received a call from CH's agent but said he didn't have to take it. What if Millsy was fired?  He's the one person who directly works for abc.  Don't the others work for MF's company, Next Productions? MF "sells" his show to abc.   Although CH does Millionaire and so maybe his contract is directly with abc. IDK.

As to Peter being TB, IMO, he will be fine just like all the rest.  Yes he will get criticism, but he will also get a lot of adulation and perks so imo it all comes out in the wash.

Yes and they have been crucified. Goes with the show! Peter will be no different. Except he is more fun to make fun. He makes it so easy.

If he is lead he'll have to learn to deal with it like they all have had to. Some are better at it than others. Lucky for him he seems to have more supporters than critics in SM land IMO.
