Bachelor In Paradise - Season 4 - Episodes - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - #3

I'm liking Taylor, Christen and Robby. All seem to be sensible, good hearted people. Taylor is a GREAT example of putting herself first, and demanding to be respected by a guy she's with who claims to care for her. Have we ever seen a woman take a stand like she did on BIP. Christen is funny, cute and smart, IMO. And Robby is a surprise to me. He seems to be respectful, kind, and a good friend. Everyone else is just meh for me. Jmo.

The majority of this cast makes me fearful for the future of our world. Cringeworthy!!!

My Spumoni isn't everyone's taste, but IMO he has always had a good heart and treated others well. (Not sure about the Sarah thing that was mentioned on last night's episode...? If it was the same Sarah that is on BIP, it hasn't even been mentioned in the episodes and nothing has seemed off between interactions between Robby and Sarah, so I don't know what to make of it.) IMO, a person's looks or style is a subjective thing--some will like and others won't. It's how somebody treats others that is typically a universally accepted standard. I think Robby's sweetness and kindheartedness is being shown.

I only wish that the squad's mean and petty comments about him hadn't aired. Hopefully it will serve as a reminder/wake up call to him and others (Christen, etc) that these people are not your true friends. Nobody should change who you they are in order to fit in with their in-group. Ever. The way they all talked behind Christen's back and mocked her was really bad. IMO.

RS mentioned before filming I think, that Robby and Sarah dated/hooked up or something, and he ghosted her. I think.

Is it just me, or is this particular cast even more two-faced than past BIP seasons? They pretend to be friends, say one thing to one person, and the opposite to another. It's like they're forgetting they're being filmed. Like people won't be able to call their bluff.

I get the premise of this show, it just seems to get progressively more snakey. I wouldn't trust anyone here.

I was wondering about the Robby and Sarah thing, too. So I looked in to it, apparently the producers cast her to cause drama with Robby but realized it wasn't going to happen.

I'm guessing tptb realized how low their pool of tb choices was, so decided not to smear Robby in case they had to call him up to the big league.

The night (season) is still young...

It makes me sad that so many of these terrific young woman are putting up with the antics of so many man babies. Kudos to Taylor and Derek for a grown up relationship and to Dani M for leaving (to go volunteer) but also for realizing her love wasn't among the slim pickins on the beach.

I feel like the producers are either throwing some of their better prospects under the bus (Dean, Matt, Wells, Ben Z.,) or alternately watching them get coupled up (Adam, Robbie.) I can't remember a season when I was at a loss for ideas for the lead (if Peter doesn't want it.)

They could always ring up One f Jef.  HE would love to do it.

I'm really shocked....the worst ever and most boring for me!

"One of the best and most watched" doesn't really mean much when there have only been 4 seasons. I guess a lot of people got pulled in by the scandal, but I'd assume many are also sick of hearing about it already. I for one wish they'd dropped the issue after the first episode. I can't stand either of the people involved, so I don't care what they have to say. It was concluded that nothing bad happened, so why do they keep talking about it? Such a waste of time.
