I just loved Celine Dion's performance. It was magical and the perfect ending to that amazing and unique opening ceremony! I didn't even notice that Lady Gaga sang in French apparently and French is my 1st language, I think the music was too loud so we could not hear her perfectly as we should have!

I'm off work for a few days so I've been watching non stop. All the athletes are so amazing. I've never really watched rugby but wow, men and women's, what a tough sport.

Canadian women's just won silver in women's rugby. What an accomplishment for them.

I loved the side story about Stephen Nedoroscik, who helped the U.S. men win a bronze medal in team gymnastics. He's a specialist and only does pommel horse and he wears glasses so they're calling him the Clark Kent of gymnastics. I loved how the team were so happy for him (and themselves) when he did so well in the final event. yes
